Unsalted pretzels won’t hurt him. The salt will. Especially since the salt chunks are so big on pretzels, I would say one of those chunks is a healthy monthly limit. Too salty for tiny birds like that.

too much salt isn’t good for any animal including humans. I think you should stick to snacks made for birdies! They make really delicious looking snacks with molasses at pet stores

Hi there. There is no set standard for feeding these pet birds. We are getting close. A good pellet food, 10% seed, 10% fruit and veggies.Limit seeds to 10%. Eventhough the sodium content of regular pretzels are high, a rare treat should be ok. Use your good judgment. I wouldn’t but then I usually don’t buy pretzels.Have a tweet year.

I think ones that are not salted wont hurt he/she. Salted might though because it should not have to much salt in its body.

it can kill them please do not feed your bird anything with salt instead use carrots,spinach,lowfat cheese,seeds,lettuce,grapes,tomatoes,brocoli,spinach, or other fruits and veggies
no achool,coffee,choclate or egg plant no chips pretzels or milk
