  1. Cat-a-pult, you might try filling some aerosol caps with ammonia and putting them around your yard.

  3. If your lawn has sand in it, you can’t really blame the cat… they are genetically trained to poop in mud/sand.You should toilet train them by providing them a shallow tub full of sand to poop in.About the birds, you can bell your cat… it’ll warn the birds of the cats arrival and cramp the cats stealth style of killing birds.I know this does work coz i’ve ‘belled’ all my cats … also its a good way to know where they are… hope this helps…

  4. I rehabilitate and release birds on my property and have the problem with the cats who live next door. What works for me, may not for you. I watched and saw where the cats were crossing over onto my property. I put a thick border of cayenne pepper where they had to walk through it.
Of course, they found new entries, so I kept up with the pepper. Now they sit on the other side of the fence and just watch. My dogs tell me when they’re there. I’ve also boiled habenero pepper and strained it so I could put it into a sprayer. I keep the areas around my flight cages sprayed with this. It works.

  13. crazy.carabid

If you know who’s cat it is tell them to keep it indoors, if it comes back or its a stray, try and catch it ( live trap works well) and send it off to an animal shelter. Cats have no business going about killing things, nothing natural about it, they are domestic animals and should be treated as such.

  14. Get a dog!!! I don’t think there is a way to stop them unless you do something that will scare them off every time you see them and they will soon learn – maybe squirt them with a hose! It won’t hurt them just embarrass them!
