With lineolated parakeets, you can’t tell by looking at the ceres like in parakeets/budgies. Becoming more active and preening each other are two signs the lineolated parakeets are ready to breed. Make sure the female is getting enough calcium with a cuttlebone or mineral block to keep her in peak breeding condition.
