Fledgling Western Bluebirds vs. Crows?

I have western bluebirds that have left their nest box. The parent birds are still very protective of the nest box whenever I get close to it even though it’s empty. I’m assuming that the fledglings must still be close by. There are quite a few large black crows hanging around my yard. Do they eat baby birds?

Yes, crows will prey upon chicks and eggs in nests as well as chicks outside the nest. Sounds like the babies are still close by. They will usually hide in scrubs until they can fly on their own and the parents will feed them there.
