OKAY! the same thing happened to me! DO NOTHING! thats what i did. I have had 12 baby birds, and only one has died and he was the first one. He flew into the window. I didnt even know he could fly. But just relax, and let mama take care of everything

Let the mother rear it. Birds regurgitate (throw up) food into the babies mouth. This is normal.
If you have an avian vet or a store (specializing in birds) or parakeet forum, contact them and get advise on the new chick, but what you are describing sounds normal.
FYI- parent reared chicks (as opposed to hand reared) have a tendency not to be friendly toward people without a lot of work.
I would definitely recommend researching with a bird group about what to expect while your keet is rearing the chick so you won’t have any major surprises.
Good luck.

Abby P is right !!
Just look after mum and dad and the do the rest, hopefully.
Fresh clean water, a good variety of food and everything should be sweet.
Sit back and enjoy your little wonders and watch them grow and change

Nothing for you to do. What you have just seen is the mum bird feeding the baby. You must check the nest in the morning and evening once chicks start to arrive.
Here is an article I write that will help you
