How good a parent are the following birds?

Okay, I got an aviary – social, and I’ve got:
Quails, Budgies, Kakarikis, Bourkes and Scaley breasted parrots.

As you may know for those in Australia breeding season is coming around and my Kakarikis are investigating the nesting boxes.
How good a parent are all those birds?
The scalies mightnt breed, but better safe then sorry.

This will help me alot, an easy 10 points :D
TY
Oh and btw, the birds are getting along nicely, please answer the question no critism.

Ty Tom,
just need to know about kakarikis now!
Lots of help!

Right now the budgies are starting to pickout pairs, kakarikis the yellow headed pair have been breed together by previous owner before sucessfully and the red headed ones are new towards each other.

You cant separate the bourkes and you CAN NEVER separate the scaleys as they will never be away from their partner.

i breed budgies and bourke parrots and quails finches cockatiels and canaries and i think that if you get good parents in budgies and bourke parrots they are really good but im not sure about kakarikis but my friend has a pair of scaley breasted parrots and they are good parents as far as i no but not to sure but the quails are good parents when they have young if you want to breed quails best you get and incubator because quails dont like to sit on the eggs to much and if they get starteled then they will jump off the eggs and will not sit again but if you incubate the eggs then you can give them to the parent quails or make a brooder for them and raise them your self but budgies i would say are the best and quails by far the worst……..hope this has helped tom

Kakarikis, need seclusion and quietness to breed successfully, they do make good parents if they are left to get on with it.

Don’t put the two pairs in same Aviary or they will get jealous and then that will stop them from breeding.

This is what I found.(I live in the U.K.)

Quail don’t tend to be good parents but if you do get a pair that are them they are worth their weight in gold.
