Don't put the two pairs in same Aviary or they will get jealous and then that will stop them from breeding. This is what I found.(I live in the U.K.) Quail don't tend to be good parents but if you do get a pair that are them they are worth their weight in gold. Ex breeder Kakarikis,need seclusion and quietness to breed successfully,they do make good parents if they are left to get on with it.
