For a cage of that size you can only keep 1 pair of Lovebirds,it is of no use putting more than 1 pair together as Lovebirds are very territorial and will Kill any addition to their territory.
I f you think you have 2 birds of the same sex ,then unless you know what they are ,you will have great difficulty in getting a matching pair,also you will not be able to put them together in the same cage as I have said they will fight.
You will need another cage to put whatever sex you get before adding their mate and this must only equate to 2 birds per cage.
Those that are saying add more birds” Do Not” know what they are talking about.
Having bred Lovebirds for many years I have had the experience.
