Get a bird hand-rearing mix from a petshop or large supermarket. Depending on what breed they are they should start trying to fly at 6-8 weeks old.

it was a bad idea to pick them up. the mother wont come back to them because they smell like a human unless there a hummingbird. you cant teach them how to fly. feed them two to three worms a day and keep the temp. at around 75 degrees F. after u have had enough take them to a place where a vet can help the birds. then maybe you’ll be able to adopt both or just one.

google bird rescues in your area. Thats what I did. Depending on what kind of birds you have and how big they are, worms may be too big still. I found a hummingbirl and she was really little. I had to litterally smash the worms to peices and drench them in water. I did that so she would drink the water in them while she ate. I they eat very little amounts very frequently. The best idea would be to find a local bird rescue and take them there

it will take about 2 weeks at the most. I hope you dont have school cuz baby birds need to be fed every hour on the hour and also be sure to chop up their food and add siliva cuz there stomachs arnt advanced enough to break don food alone. and for the flying part the best thing to do is run around and flap your arms and jump and they we’ll try to fly i know it sounds silly but that how people teach endangerd birds how to fly.

If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it’s own and it’s parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly. You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it. If it is unfeathered…then look for a nest and if you can find it…replace it into the nest. Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched. If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it’s best chance of survival. Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own. Look for a rehab here:
