I have 2 lovebirds, I’m not sure of the sexes?

I have a green one and it likes humping the blue one alot, so the green one is probably the male. However, I heard that female birds lay eggs even when they’re not fertile. I don’t have a nest box available for my birds, so is that why she doesn’t lay unfertile eggs? And they copulate ALOT, like about 3 times a day for the past 2 weeks, and once in a while on regular times, year-round. How often does a bird lay fertile/unfertile eggs? I’ve had mine for 5 years, and I’v only ONCE found somethign that looked like smashed egg shells covered in poop on the cage floor.
