here check out this link I found on google. Its an actual problem board for birds. It seems like this person is having the same problem as you and there are some good answers on there.
this will depend on if they have mated… though your female could still lay eggs even if they have not bred before it is just that then they will not be fertile… you will most likely be having some eggs soon… make sure to keep teack of the dates that each egg is laid and the date each egg hatches because lots of buyers will want to know how old their new family member is…
