  1. you only feed the parakeet the formula when you want to tame it.
    at 3 months it leaves its parents.
    i believe it is ok to let parnts raise baby.

    if you want the bird to be tame than hand raising it would be a good idea. but if you don’t want the bird to be tame than there is no need to hand raise it.hand raising a baby bird is very hard work and if you say you don’t have enough time than please do not attempt this.

  3. if the parents feet the babys they will be mean as fire!!
    hand feed them
    its alot of fun & the birds grow sooo fast

  4. When baby is 3 weeks old you can take it out of cage for 5 minutes a day. As it gets older you can more feathers you can increase time. Hand-feeding to tame is a MYTH with small birds. You can tame them just fine letting mom and dad feed and you play. I would also go ahead and get another cage because chances are more will hatch and when babies are older mom and dad will want them gone.
