Whats wrong with my parakeets?

I have 3 pet parakeets. I’ve had them for about 2-3 years and they are in my classroom. When I open their cage to feed & water them they act like I’m going to eat them for dinner or something. And them make such a mess, they will kick all of their bird food out and then I will come the next day and give them new food and they act like they are starving, whats wrong with them?

Need some help with my love birds?

I have 2 lovebirds. Neither of them are DNA sexed so we don’t know what they are. I used to keep them in separated cages 1 in my room and 1 in the family room. They would scream all day long so we put them together. Simon, ( mine ) would pull out Jazz ( my parents ) head feathers. So we separated them, and Jazz was pulling all of her wing feathers out. So we got a nesting box, and put them in a cage together well most of Jazz feathers aren’t getting pulled off anymore. They have been together for about 2 1/2 – 3 months. They laid 2 eggs then a few days later another one. About 2 weeks ago there were 12 eggs. Then I looked a few days later and there was 11, I looked today and there are 8. Are the birds eating the eggs? I don’t look every day because since we put them together they have gotten very mean, and all they want to do is bite. I have to wear heavy duty gloves in order to just look in the nesting box. I have put many kinds of nesting material in their nest, and they only use a little bit of it. What should I do with them? Both of them are too mean to handle without gloves, and if we separate them they scream all day long. Both of them are about 2 1/2 – 3 years old.I looked everywhere, there are no eggs, or even pieces on the bottom of the cage, the carpet, or anywhere. They were ripping the feathers out of the other birds head so that her head would bleed, and scabs would form over that. That’s why I put a nesting box and material in there. They have cuttle bones, but they never pay any attention to. I look at their eggs maybe once a week at the most. As soon as I put them together even before they started laying eggs they were nasty.

do you have to get a nest box, or can u use a round nest made of twigs? I have an open round one in the cage.?

I have had my budgie Sammi for about 3 years and our neighbors just moved and gave us their bird Coco. Sammi is the female and Coco is the male he is about the same age. I have a nice big cage lots of toys and they love the bottom of the cage filled with the bedding you use for hamsters. I don’t really want to put a nest box in there. I just caught them mating and was wondering if she will lay her eggs without a nest box.

Any macaw bird experts out there I need HELP I have a 6 or 5 year old male blue and gold macaw mix with?

very little military . I´ve had him for 3 years already he was given to me by some one else who loved him she used to hug him, kiss him, pet him, talk sweet to him, but never feed him or gave him watwr. The owner knows we have a dog and 4 cockatiels and 2 cats they are all well feed and well taken care of, so the owner gave us the bird, knowing she couldn´t care for him properly. Here is the PROBLEM the first two years he was ok with us my dad even made him a perch that wouldn´t be above our head, but I will admit we dont like to hold the animals a lot just ocasionally. About a year ago the owner came to visit the bird was happy I gess he would make the pupils of his eyes really small, the old owner was kissing him and all and out of the blue he bit me. Ever since he´s been agressive, we cant even get him out of the cage because he´ll try to atack us he´s also very jelous of the other pets. What can i do to have the old sweet loving bird I used to have

I have a boy and girl cockateil, I found an egg in the corner of the cage a couple minutes ago, what do i do?

They are both about 3 years old, i figured out that one is a male and one is a female (based on cheek color/social actions) I found an egg at the corner of the cage like 20 minutes ago, and the bird that was a bit aggressive, had bright cheek spots, and was very noisy (which i learned is the male) is sitting on the egg, and the calm, more dull colored cheek spots, (female) is sitting on a perch in the cage. Im pretty sure its fertilized, since theres a male and female in the cage, but idk. What do i do?? I would love to be a grandma of a baby bird :D Should i put a nest box or paper shreddings in the corner with the egg? Can i touch the egg or will the parents stop caring for it if i do? How do i put the egg on the nestbox/paper shreddings?? What should i start feeding them? I’m a horse expert not a bird expert D:
if i sit in front of the cage and watch, the bird that has been sitting on the egg (supposedly the male) first goes to the center of the cage, looks up at the other bird (supposedly the female) then attempts to get near her, but when he gets close he shows aggression. but the bird who has been laying on the egg shows all the signs of being a male, but i see that it looks like he’s the one who laid the egg because his lower stomach is fat, or it may just be the feathers fluffed up.
also, when if i get a nesting box, should i put it inside the cage? or outside the cage with a little tunnel connecting to it? My dad’s friend’s daughter (sorry long relation there lol) had a cage and a tunnel connecting to a nesting box, is it better that way or just a nesting box inside the cage?-
sad news, when i checked on the egg it was cracked open because daddy squeezed him between the bars at the bottom of the cage. i died a little bit on the inside when i had to take out the egg and see the yoke dripping out :( are they going to continue breeding? Was that even a fertile egg?
just a small question, why must i take the baby birds from the parents and put them in a brooder? wouldnt that make them strangers to their parents? sorry for all the questions, when it comes to bird breeding i’m retarded lol
