How often do you feed your parrots?

I fill my bird’s food dishes up to the top every morning. I have two African Grey Parrots. They pick at it and eat on it all day. They throw half of it out. My question is: Do you leave food out for parrots all day? Or do you pick the food up and give it to them on a schedule? If so, how often should I feed them? They are sooooooo messy with their food. They are on a pellet diet and that is what I have trouble with. I also switch out fruits and veggies and I will make them eggs, pasta, rice, etc. but they gobble that stuff up. It is the pellet food they like to play with and make a mess out of.
Oh, it also makes cleaning thier cage a mess. They poop all of the time and everywhere.

African Grey Parrots?

I have a breeder pair of Greys. I blocked off their nest box in Jan 09 because I was going to England for an extended stay. They have raised me some wonderful babies. Now they won’t breed. I allowed them back into their box for a year now. I have tried every trick that I know and haven’t had any luck.

They are a wild caught pair from the Congo. The almost never come out of their box when I am in the bird building. Then the came out of their box for about three weeks. I hadn’t seen them out in their cage that much since I bought them six years ago. Then they went back to their regular routine. They have finished up their moult and still nothing. I have sixteen pair of Amazons and almost every pair either has eggs or working the box.

Pets r Wild.

I didn’t ask for your opinion on the origination of my parrots. Go hug a d*mn tree somewhere.
I am a responsible breeder who takes much better care of my birds than the average person who keeps a pet parrot.

I feed fresh fruits and veggies every day. I give Nekton supplements. My birds are fed a pelleted diet by Zupreem. They are vet checked once a year. They are on a regular regimen for worms. The person who took care of my birds is a very good bird person.

I have averaged raising 36 parrots a season for the last four years. I not concerned with illness in my parrots. I have read where they will stop breeding for several years only to take back up. My birds have been in captivity for 16 years. (documented) They raised big healthy babies in the past. ????????

I have two African Grey Parrots that starting to mate again?

I need information on the measurements for a nesting box. They have bred before and usually lay 3 eggs each time. I just inherited these great birds. Any info would be great, food desires and toy info would help as well. I want to keep them happy
I do know how to take care of Birds I just haven’t experienced Greys beore. I know the breeding process and how to handle and hand feed babies. I just needed specifics. I wnat them to be happy. IF making babies makes them happy then so be it.
