Christians, How has the Lord discipled you through blessing?

Scripture tells us, “look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?”

Admittedly, i’ve been too worried about my life, as to where the money is going to be coming from for this project, this event, this bill, ect. But tonight I experienced what is a testimony of a demonstration of God’s love towards a sinner. Tonight, I was sampling a meal for a party I will be having at a very fine Italian restaurant (Lord willing). The owner, who is also the head chef ended up allowing me to eat 3 entrees (samplers) and 2 salads, FREE of charge! And on top of that, at the table next to me, there was a Christian couple. Long story short, they graciously sowed a love offering of $100 into my family and the Lord’s work in our ministry. I’m so deflated by His graciousness, and at the same time ashamed at my lack of trust in Him. The Lord truly is our PROVIDER, we shall not want.

Bird nest problem… help!?

A mother sparrow began building a nest by a fan end outside. It blows out air every time I use it for cooking in my kitchen. There are no eggs in the nest yet. When I was unaware that there was a nest there, I turned on the fan and the mother got spooked and flew away. Her nest blew away as well. I put a box over where the nest used to be, but then the bird began to build another nest in the box! I love birds and love seeing their nests and babies, but I would want the babies to grow up in a safer location than on my deck near a fan, a window, a grill, andthe hustle and bustle of my family. I haven’t seen the mother, but she worked on her nest in the box when I was not there. If she builds her nest in the box, should I relocate it, or call an animal refuge to come get it? Thanks!

Feeding a baby cockatiel

I have 2 adult cockatiels, one male and one female. They mated and hatched 3 eggs. The mother will continue to sit on all her eggs, and the male will sit on his bunch of eggs, but every time one hatched, the mother pushed the baby out of the nest and won’t care for it no matter what I do. The first one and the third one died, so I’m caring for the second one myself. I have a nest in a box, a heat lamp and I’m feeding it every 1-2 hours with baby bird formula in a tiny dropper. It’s been doing just fine for about 4 days, it’s growing, getting stronger and eating the formula easier. My main concern about it is every time I feed it, it swallows a large amount of air and sits in it’s crop for a little while and makes a large bubble in the crop. It says on the formula container to feed the baby till it’s crop is filled with formula, but it gets half filled with air and half with formula. When it gets filled with air I’m afraid to feed it any more because I don’t know how much it’s little crop can hold. Is this air swallowing thing normal? Should I feed it more when it does that or keep doing what I’m doing? What should I do???

my female parakeet wants to mate but my male bird doesnt know what to do..?

she’s been sticking her tail up in the air and he was trying to hop on but not sure how to. does it take awhile for the male parakeet to get the hang of it?

also i took out the stuffing in their nest because i heard parakeets lay eggs on the bare floor. should i keep it bare or put seeds on the bottom or something? i noticed my female parakeet was putting seeds on the floor.

im just wondering how long the mating “training” goes on before they actually start mating. they started showing signs of wanting to mate about a week ago, although she was getting into the nesting box all winter, the male parakeet is going over there now but hasnt went in yet.
we bought him about a year ago, so he’s over a year old
