government killings?

does any 1 else think that the government is creating alot of the diseases that are killing ppl? look at the bird flu. it was never heard of and then all of a sudden ppl started dying because of it. and aids. it just popped up all of a sudden. and then theres explainsalmonella. its been around for ever but now its popping up in lettuce and other stuff that it wouldnt ever live in. same w/the west nile virus. all these strange diseases and sicknesses just keep popping up out of no where. some that have never even been heard of or documented before. do u think its the government creating them? maybe for population control? give me ur feed back cuz id love to see if im the only 1 that feels this way. and if u have any other explanation of how these diseases keep popping up feel free to express them.

and no im not some crazy person. just think about it and think about what kind of power the government has at their disposal. and think about all the ppl dying from mysterious new diseases.

How do I keep large black birds away from my bird feeders?

I have bird feeders in my yard to feed the tiny little birds that fly about, especially this time of year when it’s really cold. The problem I am having is that there are alot of crow / black birds in our area and they are absolutely relentless when it comes to the bird feeders. I really don’t care for these black birds at all. They eat or destroy all the food for the little birds in a short amount of time. Does any one have a sensible solution to this bird problem, besides shooting the black birds. We have plenty of woods and fields for these black birds to hang out in….Not my bird feeders!

Get answers from millions of real people.?

i was given a pair of unwanted keets about two months ago. the female (green) with the help of the male (blue) completely dug out a large opening in a bird nesting box (cylindrical shaped wooden thing) They mated while with their last owner but the female never laid any eggs. i knew the male was quite a bit older than the female; so I figured it was too old. so i bought a new male (blue) and put in with the other two. the old male began acting territorial with the new male, so i separated him into another cage in another room. the female still called to the old male for several days although less now. the new male and female get along great. she began taking interest in the nest again soon after introduing the new male. Only one thing, she does this funny thing where she spends alot of time on the perch under (perch goes from one end of the cage to theother and under the nest) under the nest; almost like she is hiding under the nest; she comes out of course and eats and interacts with the male; mostly chasing around and hopping from perch to perch, swing to perch, etc. but alot of time hiding underneath the cylindrical nest. should i move the perch so that it is not under the nest, remove the nest, get them a new nest for her to work on with the new male?
thanks for any answers.

why is my ring neck dove loosing feathers on middle head and neck?

My bird is loosing feathers aroung the neck and middle of the head down to the beak. I want to know if it might be sick or nervenous. He has been thru alot with moving and we lost 2 birds already one was sick when it was born nothing catching and the other was found a home. If anyone could help us out it sure would be appreciated. Oh! one more we are feeding like five mealworms a day is this good for him.

What should i do to make my birds more friendly?

My pet parakeets have a huge cage and fresh food/ water everyday they also get veggies and treats! nothings wrong with them but they seem to bite alot and get way too scared when i put my hand in their cage! its like one day they will be eating their food out of my hands and letting me pet them and flying aroudnt the room and the next day they freak out when they see my hand go into feed them!

I have a baby Parakeet. About 10 weeks old. He will step up but will not stay on my finger.?

How do I train him to stay on my finger? I feed him mullet when he does what I want him to do. If I take him in the bathroom where he has no choice, he will stay on my finger and he likes to look at himself in the mirror. As soon as I leave the room OFF he goes. I am gone at work all day. I know he is happy because he squeeks and chirps alot. What can I do to make him not be afraid of me? I love my little bird and I don’t want him to be afraid of me.
wings are cliped and I leave cage door open so he can explore..This is his home too….
I leave his cage door open and he knows how to get out and go in…He will come out on his own..He trusts me more then my friend….He knows that I wont hurt him but he is still cautious…Maybe I am expecting too much too soon…I bird sit much larger birds like Parrots and Macaws..but parakeets are just as smart…..Most of the birds I am used to are already trained and 10 yrs old or more…..I dond want to scare him….He is so cute and I want to be his best friend.

What should I do with Delores?

Well I saw this little baby bird fall out of its nest and the mother made no move to get it, so after about 10 minutes I just picked the bird up and took it home with me. I’ve been feeding it little bits of bread soaked in sugarwater and hard boiled egg yolk, and she seems to like it. I have made a little nest out of tissue paper in a container and put it in a big box. She’s sleeping alot… but I don’t know what to do with her! I don’t know if its legal to keep her until she’s old enough to go out on her own [But of course I'll leave bread on my deck for her. ;P]… I also don’t know what kind of bird she is… Help? http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii62/xXChyoXx/DSCF1249.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii62/xXChyoXx/DSCF1252.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii62/xXChyoXx/DSCF1251.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii62/xXChyoXx/DSCF1248.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii62/xXChyoXx/DSCF1250.jpg What kind of bird is she and is it legal to keep her?
Its definitly not a Robin. :/ It looks nothing like one!! And it would have absolutely no reason to be in the area, Robins just aren’t native to my area. So if anyone else has a sensible answer, please help. And as for the food situation, I followed instructions from a website that really seemed to know what they were doing. And she’s been with me for 5 hours and she is actually seeming to get a little stronger, she’s chirping and moving around alot. But she’s also sleeping alot. And as to the “You should have left her there” thing, she would have frozen to death or been stepped on or kille as some mean joke. I found her by a highschool, in a place where it always rains and snows and its always cold. I don’t think the parents were even there!
Oh and also, she was found in the middle of a walkway. And yeah, I think she might be a sparrow :]
