Last night in my yard. I want to take it in somewhere. But I am not too sure where. It seems to be very healthy, very lively and moves a lot. Should I feed it or anything? I know that baby birds usually eat worms…should I go buy worms? I am not kidding around and love animals very much. Please don’t think I am just playing “games” Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks a lot!
It cannot fly. Its either A) injured or B) just isnt able to fly yet.

I hank my bird feeder off the fasha of my house but I have a privacy fence the animals crawl onto and eat all my bird feed. I have no were else to put the feeder any ideas?

how come when ppl eat mold they die but when animals eat it they dont? i feed the birds and squirrels moldy food all the time and they just keep coming back!!
My sister and I found a baby bird on the ground in the middle of the yard. There were only very high branches above us. We give the baby bird a bug and a grub and also some water out of a syringe. Our neighbor works with animals and she told us once before that if you touch a bird its mother WILL come back for it. We put the bird in a shoe box with some leaves and grass then we put the baby bird in some shrubs to wait for its mother but if the mother does not come back we would not know the correct food to feed it. How can we kept this baby bird alive?
I have had animals all my life.
I have horses, sheep, chickens, rat, cat, dog and a got parakeets around christmas time.
I know how to feed them and they have their toys Im just wondering about their behavior.
Some times it looks like the two of them are screaming at eachother.
Other times it looks like they are kissing.
I had to buy to different yet the same perches or else they would fight over the one.
They arent aggresive and they seem happy.
I am just curious about parakeet behavior.
I mean it seems that they have adjusted to my schedual too. During the week my alarm goes off at 5 or so and I get up. On the weekends I can sleep in, but my birds seem to think I need to get up and if I dont they are chirping at 6 am. If I get up they stop.
I dont mind its cute.
O yea and how big should a cage be for 2 parakeets?
And do I absolutely have to clip their wings? Mine seem fine with out it?
I have bread and peanuts that I buy just for them. I like to sit on my balcony early in the morning and distribute it for the birds and the squirrels. Does that make me weird? Am I the only one that does this?
we love emily, M as I call her. what is good food to feed her, i just dont think regular bird seed is apitizing… anyone with pigeons, or experience please let me know. I live in puerto rico and the stores I found don’t cater to pigeons… she is a sweet bird and is free to leave anytime she likes… she chooses to stay, so I do my best with my animals to keep them happy… ciao, Eric
