Yesterday i found a nest of baby mocking birds and i watched them and as the mom was coming back a cat jumped up and killed her.so i took the nest down and have them in a improvised incubator (dont worry it works just fine and i keep the eggs at 87-90 degrees) and they could hatch any day now
how do i feed them and how often. do i keep them in the incubator. i know what they eat though. please help me!!!!????

If anyone has any pointers as to taking care of a ferrett i would aprreciate the in put.Because I don’t have a clue. What bad or good habits they have. My 2 yr-old cat just brought my fiance and I a baby bird home for dinner! It seems strong and healthy, but I don’t know what to feed it. Anyone been through this successfully?
I am looking for Organic and/or Natural chicken in the Chicago area. Can anyone give me a store(s) location where I might purchase it. I recently discoverd that Perdue feeds their birds “biotechnical” feed. Another term for GMO. Please, somebody help me?

my boyfriend says if you feed a bird alka-seltzer it will kill them does anyone know if this is true?
Also will it hurt the birds. The weed and feed says if you get it on your skin or clothing to remove clothing or wash skin immediatly, yet it has no mention of use on pet areas and I know this is a product that people use on thier entire yards. But I am a little unsure of using it where my dogs go out.
She just started doing this the last few days. I have no clue why. I have more than one bird, so I have several food cups. She is the only one kicking the food out though. I tried leaving a cup empty for her, that didn’t work either. I don’t know if she may be wanting a nest. I gave her a nest, she wouldn’t go near it. She won’t go near a nesting box either. This has become very annoying because she is wasting so much food. Can anyone please help??
I don’t think it has to do with finding her favorite seed. She isn’t eating it, she’s sitting inside the cup and kicking it out. When she does eat, she eats it all. I know her and one of the males are mating. I have seen them…several times lol.
1. The cups are plastic.
2. She is at least 1 and a half to 2 yrs old.
3. She already is mating. I have seen her and the male several times.
4. She wouldn’t have anything to do with a nest or box.
5. I tried separating her and she actually squeezed herself through the bars of the cage to get back to the other cage.
