Found a baby hawk…?

Last night in my yard. I want to take it in somewhere. But I am not too sure where. It seems to be very healthy, very lively and moves a lot. Should I feed it or anything? I know that baby birds usually eat worms…should I go buy worms? I am not kidding around and love animals very much. Please don’t think I am just playing “games” Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks a lot!
It cannot fly. Its either A) injured or B) just isnt able to fly yet.

anyone know anything about racoons?……………………?

…………..my folks have been feeding stray cats in their backyard for years, ocassionally birds would rush in,grab some pieces, then take off.And fast too; cats, you know?lol.
But out of nowhere a racoon(we think only the one) started eating the cat food too.And this is in the city also, not arural area.Just wondered if anyone knew things about them. And would they try to harm the cats?

its lying on its back fluttering its wings i think its tail is broken is there anything that can be done? its mom is ignoring it and has stopped feeding it

what do feed a wild baby bird that has been abandoned?

i read that you aren’t supposed to feed them anything and not to touch it directly.
i left it in a box with plastic bags with warm water, and socks-so it will stay warm, because it’s
very chilly outside.i left it outside, but i don’t think it’s mother will try to find it. and it can’t fly, so it has no way of going back to it’s nest. i called a service to help wild life birds, but they are closed and won’t answer my calls. i don’t want it to starve to death, because i haven’t seen it eat all day. i have no idea how to feed a wild baby bird, because i know the mother bird has to stick food into it’s mouth. please, help me people. it would be a shame if it went through the whole day trying to care for this baby bird, and it to end up dying.

PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT TO FEED IT, AND HOW TO GIVE TO THE BABY BIRD. LIKE DO I HAVE TO USE ANY TOOLS TO FEED IT?
i just found it, and i have no idea where the nest is at. i didn’t take the bird from it’s nest. i have no idea what to feed it. it survived the night, though i still haven’t seen it eat anything. does anyone know where i can call to help me?

How do I care for a baby bird?

While i was waiting for my mom to pick me up from youth group I found a baby bird with no feathers. It looked like it was recently hatched. I thought it was dead because it was on the steps on its back but when i touched it it moved. So I brought it home,(after i looked for the nest, not successful) and put it in a cardboard box on toilet paper under a heat lamp. That was Wednesday and it has now been 3 days and it is very frisky. I am feeding it small pieces of worms, but what else should i feed it? And what would b the best way to water it? From a syringe? Is there anything else i could do to help it grow and not die. I know baby birds are hard to hand raise and most die, but I wanna try. Please no mean comments or anything, only helpful tips. Thanks!
Rachael – it was getting dark and it is a tiny feather-less fledgling on concrete steps on its back. I doubt it’s mother was coming for it.
but don’t mothers feed them worms? And i can’t seem to find info on fledglings and what kind it is! :O
oops i meant hatching :)
do i use wet dog food or dry? is cat food alright to?

My cat lost his voice, is there anything I should do?

My 8 year old cat (Sammy) lost his voice. He was fine on Sunday; monday morning his meow sounded scratchy, then today (Tuesday), he had no voice. He tries to meow but can’t.

*this is a very vocal cat; we can not usually get him to be quiet (ex- him meowing to go outside or chattering at the birds). He has been drinking a lot of water lately. We did schedule a vet appointment for Saturday. Anything we can do until then (ex- feed him wet food)?

what do you feed a wild baby bird that was abandoned by its mother?

ok, well there are baby birds that we found and i am asking what do you feed it when you are trying to save it. it is a baby but it is bigger than a baby bird, so we can say it is a teen bird that cant fly. um, what do you feed it and how can we make it comfortable and not scared? and please i want only serious answers and DONT tell me to release it or anything? and how do we give it water? thanx in advance.
