I have 5 baby cockatiels 5 weeks old, when should I put them in there own or different cages?

We purchased 2 mated cockatiels from craigslist, and quickly following that the female layed 5 eggs. Our cockatiels have been wonderful parents and we have enjoyed watching there skills. Know the oldest is 5 weeks old and the youngest just came out of the nesting box yesterday. 7 birds in one cage is getting to be a lot (however we let them out all day long), I am curious when I should put them in seperate cages and how many per cage, followed by when is the proper time that they can go to different homes. I have tried to find this information out but have not found anything specific. I thank you for your help.

A few very important questions about BABY COCKATIELS, and COCKATIEL EGGS.?

Hi! After school today I candled my cockatiels only ONE egg she has laid, and realized i could see the spider veins i have been hoping for, and even a heartbeat! I have afew questions now. If anyone could answer atleast one, i`ll be happy :)

1. My cockatiels dont seem to bathe or dip their chests in water for humidity. I have a bowl of water at the bottom of the cage, and they havent gone near it. Can spraying them down with a spray bottle help? How about a bowl of water with a lid and holes punched in the top, inside the nest box?

2. How common is it that an egg will need assisted hatching? I am scared that the egg will start to hatch while I`m at school..

3. Can there be a blood ring around a live embryo that already has the spider-like veins?

4. What is the air sac all about, and the first pip?

5. I live in Canada so my house is cold in the mornings and at night, what can I do to make sure my birds dont get chills?
thanks!
One more question for when the babies are hatched-

At 2 weeks old, I plan to start hand feeding them. How many times a day should they be fed?

can i change my baby cockatiels’ pine shavings?

i have a male and female cockatiels, they have babies for about 2 weeks now. the babies have been inside the nestbox ever since and i occasionally let them out and handle them (without their mom and dad knowing anything). the problem is, the babies have been pooping inside the nest box and their poop is accumulating inside so the nestbox really has a stinky smell and i want to change the pine shaving for hygiene of both the babies and my home. is that ok or would the parents abandon the kids if they noticed that the pine shavings have been changed? i don’t want that to happen because i don’t want to hand-feed the little birds. thank u

Baby cockatiels parents are in the way?

as scared as i am to hand feed the babies there is another problem. the parents have been feeding the baby birds before i can even get to them so i cant hand feed the babies. So what do i do? i really want these new baby birds to grow up well and be nice and tame. unlike my cockatiels now who bite u even if u try to get close ( even out of the cage )
the olders were mean even before she had babies and sometimes it seems the babies are lookin like they want to bite me too.
