I found a wild baby bird and it just died, does anyone know why?

ok i was in Greely, Colorado the other day and a mother black bird was kicking her baby otu of the nest repeatedly after we put it back in the nest. So i brought it back to my house, Peyton, Colorado and it did fine. That is until about 2 days after ive had it here, it was eating and jumping around and stuff but then today i came in to feed again (eggs scrambled and finley smashed up with water and some baby formula) and it was laying on its side (this morning i noticed it had stopped chirping completley and was only making a weasing noise) i had no idea what to do so i hopped on the internet and tryed to find what i should dom and found nothing. He died about 15 minutes after i had seen him on his side. He was about 2-3 weeks old only had a few feathers and pink still showing, I would like to know why this happened. I beleive it could have been a respitory problem judging by the loss of chirping, but i had a heat lamp over him. *This was a BlackBird by the way* ANY ADVICE NEEDED!

How to take care of a baby bird?

I found a baby bird who fell from his nest (way to high for me to put him back in) and I followed a recipe I found on Internet on how to feed him (boiled meet, grains, baby formula = blended) and I use a eye drop bottle to put it in his beak (it works great). Obviously after 3 days he’s trying to get out the big box I put him in. I don’t know how he will do out on his own (food wise). Do you think the SPCA will take him? (I call but they don’t answer) Thanks!

How should I take care of my baby parakeets, when they hatch?

I’m very worried on how I should go about caring for my baby parakeets when they hatch, the hen is currently nesting her eggs, however in the past she’s laid a batch (1 hatched and died after a single day). I want to avoid the same thing from happening again, and I don’t have the heart to break the eggs like others who don’t want to go through the trouble do. The problem starts when the babies are first born. (about the first week or so) the mother doesn’t really know what to do when the babies hatch, and she just continues to sit there paying no attention to the baby at all. While I’m afraid to touch it since when they first hatch they seem so frail and soft, and I’m not sure if I should. I’ve bought a Nesting box for my hen, some bedding, and baby formula with a Syringe to begin the feeding, such as that I’ve seen on youtube. However I don’t think it’s possible to start feeding the baby birds 1-3 days out of the egg since their mouths are so small. What do birds eat when their 1-6 days old? When should I start hand feeding the birds? Should I take the hen out of the nest after the eggs hatch? How long should it be until I stop hand feeding the babies and introduce them to seeds? If there’s anybody out there who is an expert on baby Parakeets i plea to you, PLEASE help me!!
