Help! How can I fit two nesting boxes in one cage?

I have 1 male and 2 female parakeets in one 3-bird cage. I have recently figured out that my two females are both pregnant. I need two nesting boxes, and I can only fit one in the cage. I have another 1-bird cage, but it won’t fit a nesting box probably. Any suggestions on questions or on the baby’s? This is my first time with a pregnant parakeet!

Just adopted 2 sugar gliders!! need help please!!!!!?

My husband and I just adopted 2 cute little sugar gliders! One girl and one boy, they are almost a year old. They came from below standard living conditions, they’re cage was a very tiny little bird cage and they were never really taken out. They were only fed quiko sugar glider food and thats about it. Even though they werent played with they are somewhat tame and eat fruit out of our hands and don’t crab too much. I just wanted to ask the experianced glider mommy and dadys out there afew questions;
1.The cage smells awful!Theyre poo is caked to the side of the cage, we can’t seem to get it off.Whats a safe way to clean it?
2.Is the quicko food ok?What else should we feed them, when and how much?
3.We had them out of their cage last night and they would climb on our hands and bite us.They even drew blood on my thumb. How do we bond w/older gliders and will they always bite people they don’t know?
4.What do u recomend as a cage liner? They were using kitty liter.
Thanks!!

Cockatiel having diarrhea?

I was walking past the bird cage to see an absolutely disgusting present from one of my cockatiels.
Let me start from the beginning…
She’s been laying infertile eggs (Both of my cockatiels are females)
I noticed that she wasnt sitting on them, she was sitting on her perch, but I could see that she still had an egg inside of her (Not eggbound, but she was “pregnant” with one)
I stopped at the cage and was about to look into the little nesting box (We set it up after she laid infertile eggs for the first time and we thought the birds mated)
Then, just before I was about to look into the nesting box, my bird had diarrhea.
I was absolutetly sure it was diarrhea, it was like a pure brown liquidy substance. It smelled horrible as well. (Sorry for the gross details)
I looked at the bottom of the cage, and i noticed that it had happened before, from the looks of it.
Now she is at the bottom of the cage, trying to chew the cage bars, and she has shaken her tail feathers a few times.
Kind of like when they shake their whole body to fluff up their feathers, but she was just doing it with her tail.
She doesnt look eggbound, but im pretty sure she must be sick
To all the bird experts…Please, Id love to hear an explanation and what to do?
I have been giving her the same food she eats every day.
The eggs are infertile, b/c the birds are both females
The cockatiel is going to continue laying infertile eggs, like chickens do
Others say that when the cockatiel has finished laying a clutch of eggs and loses interest in the eggs, you can throw them away.
But nobody mentioned a special diet for a bird laying infertile eggs every now and then?
I really dont want to have to give her special food if shes going to continue laying eggs, but also give normal food to the cockatiel that isnt laying eggs.
Is there any way to settle her motherly/egg laying instinct down a bit? Others say that I should take the nest box away, and that will settle it a tiny bit.
If i have to give her a special diet, what kind?
When she was laying eggs before this clutch shes laying now, she never had diarrhea

Help..I rescued a baby bird…what do I feed it?

The cat had gotten it…now it’s in a bird cage. It’s survived the night..alert and drinking water from a eye dropper. Thistle is there if it wants it.
Oh..it’s not a real young bird but not quite able to fly. Looks like it needs some tail feathers. Probably why our cat found it. It’s a female House Finch.
We have Lindsey Museum in the next town which has an animal rescue hospital there but their closed on Sundays. What do I feed the little gal until then?
(and yes..I did take her outside hoping maybe the trama was over for her and she could fly away…she just tried to run fluttering her wing, that’s how I know she can’t fly yet! Maybe fell outta a nest..dont know!

Anybody?
And please be serious…no jerk answerers…I love birds!
Thanks

Lovebird, always assumed was the female, in 2 bird cage. Laid egg in bottom corner of cage. what to do?

2 year old, at least, always assumed female lovebird laid egg in corner of cage. Both she and mate are inquesitive about it, and do keep going back to the egg, she had sat on it for while til I noticed she was staying on bottom of cage too much. Found egg, left it laying where she has it in corner of course ontop of the cage bottom rack. No nesting box, will egg and future eggs be ok, and can they hatch if fertile, and grow from bottom of cage? First instance with lovebirds. My last pair of cockatiels laid infertal eggs several times a day, but not sure what to do with Lovebirds. Any suggestions to what to do and what to do if more is laid, and if they are fertile, she cares for them and they hatch. do I need to put anything in cage to make a nest or is it too late?
