how do i look after a wild bird i dont have an incubator but i have made a nest and box and it is kept warm daily, i candled it and ther is sumthink inside it, i have no idea how old the egg is but im going to be really confues wen and if it hatches!!

So I went outside today and I saw two little blue brown-speckled eggs cracked open on the grass. One was just a shell the other had yolk pouring out. Then I found one that seems in tact. I put some grass in a box and put the egg in. The I put that under a lamp. What do I do now? I did some research saying it could be dead already and that I have to keep turning the egg so the embryo doesn’t stick to the egg. I saw a nest it must have fallen out of but it’s too high up for me to reach and theres wasps in there so I’m not going near it.
Anyone know how to care for bird eggs? What do I do if it hatches?
Okay so i woke up today and went outside to check on my parakeets about 10 of them.So i put a nesting box in there and i saw one dead bird in there and the other one laying the egg.So there is 2 parakeets in that nest box one is dead i think is an adult and the Female is laying the egg any reason the other one died? And the Female bird seems staying on her egg the whole day she never get food.Will it die? What should i do with the dead bird and the female.Because the female is very aggressive toward me is protecting is egg so i cant get the dead bird out.Help i want the bird egg to hatch! Thank You for answering.PLEASE help
I found a speckled brown and white egg on the ground. There was no nest in sight, so I’ve had it under a lamp and in a box with washcloths for about a day. I can’t tell if its alive or not. I turn it every few hours though. It would be helpful if i could get some advice on what i should do…Including if its alive…..

Yesterday, I found a bird’s egg by my neighbor’s yard. It was on the ground with no nest nearby. I set up a crude incubator to help keep it warm. I put the egg in a shoe box with some blankets and am heating it with one 60 watt and 40 watt bulb. They are at least 5 inches away from the egg. I contacted my local humane society and was told that I can bring it in tomorrow (which I plan on doing). Can you inform me on what else I should be (or shouldn’t be doing)? Thanks
When I was little, I found a nest that had been abandoned. I knew it was abandoned because I watched one bird, a yellow and black one, attack the mother bird (black and blue), and the yellow bird knocked three of the eggs out of the nest. I later found the mother bird on my front doorstep, dead 
(I’m assuming my cat got it, ha. He used to bring us presents lol). Anyway..
There was one egg left in that nest.
I brought it inside, but it in a little box with tissues on a heating pad.
About a week later, I woke up to a bird chirping. Haha.
I felt so accomplished.
Anyway..
I had NO idea what to do with a wild bird 
I fed it milk and bread all turned into moosh in a dropper thing..
But the bird only lived to be a couple weeks old And one time I checked on it, it was dead!
I never knew what happened. I also want to do that again (but of course I’m not gonna go nest-robbing, ha.)
Do you know why the bird died?
I’m assuming it was the diet. Haha.
I don’t think baby birds are meant to eat cows milk and human bread… Haha
But oh well.
It was probably 7 years ago, I was only like 10..
But yea.

And… What is the RIGHT way to incubate eggs anyway? I just used a heating pad. I know an INCUBATER would have been smarter but yea. Didn’t have one. Haha.

oops those details posted twice ha my bad
(we work outdoors) and I brought it home, in case it is still viable (no nest could be found). Is this egg alive? It is small, white, with what looks like two black dots inside. Also, there seem to be other funny shapes inside.
Right now, it is swaddled in a cloth and inside a small box, placed in a closet in my house that happens to be rather humid.
