Love bird nest box help?

I have a pair of fischer lovebirds,and they have layed 7 eggs (5 hatched). The baby lovebirds have been in their for at least 2weeks and just recently i looked in their nest box and it stank to holy heaven. is their any way i can clean the nest box without disturbing the baby lovebirds to much (I can pick up the baby lovebirds)
it is a removable 5”by5” wooden nest box with coton and shreded paper as nesting material. the box can be removed
i just want to make the nest box smell good because it smells like fecees and urine.

I found a baby bird, nest destroyed and the parents are still around what should I do?

During a wind storm, this dove/pigeon (baby) fell out of its nest and the nest is gone. But the Parent birds are still hanging around. I put the baby bird in a box and the mother bird went down to it, fed it once or twice, and then just watched it. I went out there a few times to check on it.
And now only the father is out there not near it just sitting in the tree. the baby hasn’t eaten for more than 8 hours. I’m scared and i dont want it to die. What should i do. i have this cage that i put it in and it doesnt have a top to it, i thought that would work that way it cant get out and the parents can still get to it. will that work.

i have a big problem. i know this is gross but my parakeet just hatched her eggs and the problem is that there is like alot of cockroaches under the next box. will that harm the new born birds? is there any way to get rid of the bugs under the bird nest box with out harming the other eggs? only helpful answers please!

Bird nest needs removing?

I have a small dilemma and need some advise and assistance. We live in Havana and the Animal Control there only works with dogs and cats. Well…a mother bird has built a nest in the newspaper box, which is connected to our mailbox. Needless to say, we have been unable to check our mail for several days b/c of the watchful eyes of the mother bird. We would like to remove the nest, w/o disturbing whatever is in it. Can someone tell us the best time and method to do this?

We are unable to get close enough to see if there is any eggs or baby birds inside.
Thank you to everyone who responded. St. Francis Wildlife Refuge is coming out to the house this evening to assist assess the situation and provide assistance.

i want to give them food but i dont know if i should just put it in the nest or feed it to them or give them worms or buy bird food but they are wild birds i just dontknow wat type of bird it is its kinda grayish blackish

What can I feed a morning dove chick?

I just found a mourning dove chick on the middle of the road. Because it followed me and I could not find a nest or parent I took it home. I have it sitting in an old bird nest in a cage and it seems to be ok for now, but what do I feed it?

Wild Bird Nest Box question, please answer?

I am on the student council at my school and i am trying to make the school better for the enviroment. One of my ideas is putting up nest boxes in some of our trees. The school is in central Ohio and our trees include some soft bristle pines and some other decidous trees. I was wondering what kind of birds we should be able to attract, how to attract them, and how to make sure that we buy good quality nest boxes that will be easy to clean and stand up to weather, as well as be good for the birds too of course. I also need to know how far to space them apart so that i know they will all be used. please answer, the next student council meeting is coming up and i we dont have them very often so i need to be ready with ideas and facts etc. Thank you in advance for the help. I will pick best answer
