Why does Yahoo have birds only under “pets”?

I am a bird lover. I keep bird feeders filled year around, a birdbath with a heater for winter, nest boxes, etc. I am, however, opposed to keeping birds as pets. I am not condemning others who do, but am opposed as a personal preference. Why not a wild bird category or a bird category in zoology? It took my a while to even find birds listed under pets.
