PLEASE OH PLEASE HELP ME!?

PLEASE I NEED HELP BREEDING MY BUDGIES! DON’T GO AWAY NOW IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING STAY!
I’ve had a male and female budgie for over a year. I an postive they are male and female and the males stripes are gone so he is old enough to breed. The female is albino so i can’t know for sure how old she is but i’ve had her for over a year as is said before. I feel they are clearly bonded because they always feed each other, preen, and the male is always singing to the female. Lately they have been flying around the cage more and when i play budgie sounds ( don’t want to get more budgies to encourage them) the male sings and gets excited. The male has been rubbing his head and beak to his favorite perch and the female as been knawing on it. I’ve been feeding them enriched bird seed with vegies mixed in. As well as fresh fruits, vegies, and crushed egg and of course a cuttle bone. I have a nesting box lightly dusted with aspen shaving as well as some aspen shavings in a container by a perch to encourage the female to put it in the box. I also have some baby bird hand feeding formula just in case. They are in my bathroom where they get a lot of light, plenty of noise from the animals outside, and the lest amount of interaction from us, my cat, and dogs as they will ever be able to get. I did have to move them there so i don’t know it that will of caused them stress and made them not breed is so how long until they do? I’ve done EVERYTHING to get them to breed and i’ve been trying for a week now. I’m not sure if they are “in season” I tried to get some pics but i couldn’t figure out how to get them up. So the male’s cere is a deep deep blue, while the females cere is crusty and tan with white around the nostrils. It has been this way for about a week before it was lighter than this. I know that when the females cere is deep brown they are ready to breed but my female is also albino so that might change how it looks.
So i need to know if they are ready to breed and if what i’m doing is correct to help them breed. If there is anything else i can do to encourage them to breed it would help SO much!
PLEASE NO nonsense answers i’ve gone all over the interent and i really need some info. I know that they will breed in their own time but i want it to be as soon as possible. Sorry this is so long and thanks to those who answer!

I need a little information on parakeet breeding?

I am not planning on breeding birds but I want to be prepared incase my two parakeets have eggs. So first of all, when the eggs are layed how do you tell if they are fertile? do you need to have a nest box after they are layed? How many chicks is the norm? What to do once they are hatched? any info would be appreciated. thanks

Parakeet Babies and Breeding!!!?

I have too parakeets male and female, Chirpo And Trixy! When they come out and do a courtship dance. They lock beaks and rise the bases their wings. Trixy goes in a bird house we put in but has no nesting in the box, we put paper shreds but its not working! What can i use for nesting stuff? My keets are not tame, how can i tame their babies without being bit? Thanks ~josie~

Parakeet Breeding Information?

i used to have 3 parakeets bought from the pet store, but recently one of my parakeets keeps laying eggs and they hatch into little baby parakeets. currently i have 6 parakeets and i read that the female parakeet will keep on laying eggs. i’m not sure if i will have enough space to keep anymore new hatchlings, so is there any way to stop the female from laying eggs. or if i would want to start breeding and selling the birds, how would i do that? what would i need to do to get started? etc.

also: why does the male parakeet keep pushing the eggs out of the nesting box? he has already done that to at least 5 of the eggs the female laid and broken all of them. after that i separated the female from all the other birds. but i was wondering why the push the eggs out of the box?

caring for ringneck parakeets questions?

hello, we are thinking of getting a breeding pair of ringneck parakeets to keep in our OUTDOOR aviary. They will be in a part by themselves with no other birds. we would like some questions to be answered please- firstly can they stay outside? are they hardy enough to stay outside during the winter, how cold can they stand it to get? would i need to buy a special nest box for them or would they be ok with a cockatiel nest box to breed in? finally, is there a special parakeet seed mix that i need to feed them or would they be ok with cockatiel feed (plus the fruit and veg they need)? Thank you!
thanks jared, that helped loads- can i just check where are you from because if you’re from USA then your winter is ALOT hotter than ours in the UK. Thanks

Is my parakeet about to lay an egg?

So I got these two parakeets about a year ago, and the female looks like it may be pregnant. I have no experience with bird breeding and I have done nothing in preparation for the egg(s) arrival. The female has a bump on its bottom, which I was told was a sign she was going to lay eggs, but sense its been about two weeks sense it was spotted, and that she has not acted any differently than before, I have become skeptical. I also have a nest box at the bottom of the cage, but neither her or the male hang around the bottom of the cage, and the male doesent seem to be protective of the female at all. Also, the only other sign I have noticed that I’ve read about is the heavy breathing, which is kind of normal sense both birds are very skittish. So is my bird going to lay an egg? Or can this mean shes sick? Im worried about her, and would appreciate response ASAP ^.^ thanx much

zebra finch breeding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?:D?

hey yesterday i bought a pair of zebra finches, male and female of course

anyway yesterday i made a nest box with a rafaelo box (the chocolates) smart me keke
and lined the bottom with some tissue paper so my poor birds wnt slip around.

anyway today i noticed the male was very vocal, is this normal behaviour for any male zebra finch?

and at the end of the day, as the sun was just about gone i brought the cage in for the day, and i noticed that they have started piling some grass in the corner of the nest box:D

and i would like to know when i shoiuld expect some eggs, considering i just got the finches yesterday, they were in the cage with many other finches so i doubt they wer already a pair
