Eggs have gone.. :S ?

Okay, we have a bird aviary (not very big) and we have 4 budgies in there, so two males, two females and they are in pairs.. So two had 3 eggs and layed it in there nesting box and then a few days later they weren’t there and I saw a dead really young baby bird outside but not trace of any other birds or eggs.
The other pair kept hanging around there and one couple lost two eggs, which got dropped on the floor, we aren’t sure which couple it was, but my nan said she saw the other couple (without eggs) mating.

So where and why do you think the eggs in the nesting box went?

budgie bird help (breeding)!!!!!!!!!!!!?

hey i have been trying to breed my budgies for like 2 months and the male bobs his head and stuff ,they clean each other and he gives her food but she will not go in the nest box have 3 in the cage for her but she does take the nest supplies and put them in the bottom corner her poop is bigger than his to ? do u think they will breed?

How to get my budgies to not mate?

We have three budgies, two of them are adults, one male and one female. We figured we could prevent any offspring by not providing a nesting box or any safe place to lay eggs, but I just saw them…well, you know. I startled them to stop, but there are times during the day no one is home!

All the things I can find online say “take away the nesting box”, but we don’t have one to begin with. I don’t want to deal with baby birds, nor do I want to have to destroy the eggs, if eggs happen to be laid.

Help!
I don’t believe in breeding something there’s tons of anyway. I plan on never purchasing from breeders and pet shops again, because of all the cruelty that goes into that, especially with overpopulation. Heck, that’s why I dont’ want children, but that’s another story.

I don’t want to have them in separate cages because they’ll get noisy. I live in an apartment and I’m a student, I can’t afford to take care of more things and deal with all that stress.
