Found a bird with broken leg?

This morining I was getting in my car and found a bird in the grass floppin around with ants all over him.So I brought him inside and got the ants off of him and made like a little nest out of hay and and got a cardboard box and put in inside of it then got a piece of cardboard and put it over the box like a roof.so he would have some shade, then gave him some water and wild bird food.I dont know what kind he is but he is small and black.I culdnt just leave him there so ants could eat him.So what else can I do to make sure he survives and his leg gets better? Thanks in advance.

How to stop the blue birds from attacking my car windows?

I have had a blue bird box in the same place for over 5 years. Now this year, we cannot leave either of our cars outside during the day without out the blue birds attacking the mirrors.

Unless some other solution works beforehand the bird box will come down after the nesting season. I like the blue birds but not that much.

I found a bird, help?

I was outside trying to get the coffee cup that rolled under my car when I noticed a little bird. I thought it was odd that she didn’t fly away, and soon discovered that she was unable to fly. She can flap her wings, but she can’t get more than two feet off the ground, and not for more than a few seconds. I couldn’t find a nest nearby, so I brought her in the house. She’s in a box with some water. I’m unsure of what to do in order to take care of her, does anyone have suggestions on what I could do to take care of her, or a place I could take here where she could be properly cared for?

Wild bird experts please help!!?

I have a flycatcher. I know he is a wild bird, but he chose to come live with me. He was on my husband’s car last summer when he got out of work and he opened the door, the bird flew in and rode home on his shoulder.
We had to feed him bird formula for the entire winter because he wouldn’t take solids until the past month. I’m not sure what to feed him because flycatchers aren’t pets and there aren’t a lot of resources for me. On a daily basis I’ve been giving him mealworms, blueberries, some cockatiel bird seed (He eats them in small amounts, though I don’t know if he should eat them, which is why I ask), and some millet (also not sure if this is good but he likes it). I have given him strawberries and I also give him all the potato bugs or spiders from my basement.
I’ve tried to train him to feed himself but he’s clueless. He wont eat unless I give it to him on a skewer or I put it in his dish. I can’t set him free but I want him to be happy. How can I make him happy??

I did call a wild bird lady, and she said non-citrus fruits were good as treats on the side or an all meat diet, and that flycatchers like blueberries. I’m just not capable of catching flies so I don’t know if I need to get better at it, or if the bugs I’ve been using are okay.

Why are some people so mean?

I was sitting outside yesterday in my wheelchair where i normaly sit and feed the squirles and birds. This guy comes out of his apartment jumps in his car and cranks it up and starts reving his engine up really loud over and over. Then he puts his car in reverse punches the gas and spins his tires and comes flying backwards. He then slams on his brakes and skids to a halt throws the car in drive and turns the corner right next to me and fishtails around spraying me with gravel and almost hitting me. The next morning which is today i go out to feed the animals like i always do and i see that his car is parked in the spot were i feed the animals. There is plenty of parking right next to where he lives and yet he parks there. I roll over there and notice that his left front tire now has one of those little spare tires on it from when you get a flat. The little spare tire is also flat. He could have really hurt me with his car. Is this karma paying him back and making his tires go flat?
