My Cockatiel fertile egg laying process?

My male and female Cockatiels recently conceived an egg 3 days ago and the other yesterday. I am just uncertain of why they are not in the nesting box all the time to incubate their eggs. Whenever i open the cage both of them come out of the nesting box or cage and play with me. But sometimes one goes in to sit on the eggs. will the baby birds die in the egg if their parents are not constantly incubating them?

Omg my female cockatiel bird just laid an egg on the floor?

I don’t really know what to do. I think it is fertilized because she is living in the same cage with a male. I just bought a nesting box and put the egg in there, did i do something wrong? And also i found it weird that my male cockatiel was the first to go into it.

Omg my female cockatiel bird just laid an egg. What should i do?

Omg my female cockatiel bird just laid an egg. What should i do?
Hi i just walked into my room with a huge surprise, my bird laid an egg it is really small. I don’t really know how to take care of her tho. Is there a good chance that it is fertilized because there is a male cockatiel in the same cage. So i bought cuttle bone for calcium and a nesting box. Her poop also seems to be heaver is she just ovulating? and also this is her first egg there only seems to be one, when will she lay on them?

Female cockatiel, no eggs, aggressivness?

Female pearl cocktiel has been aggressive since yesterday morning. I found that she has infujured my male cockatiel so i separated them, today when i put them back she chases him around when he goes near the nesting box. Since yesterday she gets all puffed up and territorial and tries to bite, she rock back and forth a little, i thought it was egg binding, when i attempted to put her under a warm towel she got out of the nesting box and was perfectly fine, personality and all, just when she gets in the nesting box. her vent wasn’t swollen and i felt underneath and it didn’t feel hard or anything like an egg was there, it was quite soft. so after that he was k last night and i separated the two birds. This morning she was in the box again, hissing and still trying to bite the male when i put him inside. Help?

Cockatiel Tame Help? :)?

Hello :)
Okay so heres the deal,
i have two cockatiels, one is male, one is female.
I was pet sitting them, but they ended up giving them to us.
I have had birds before, so I am not a newbie.
What i do need help with is..
they are not young, but they are not old. (i dont know exactly how old they are)
i need help with taming them, is there a way to tame them? like so they can climb on to my hand..?
can you tell me the techniques you used to tame your cockatiel?

also, ive had them for about 1 or 2 months now and i have not yet named them so could you give me name ideas? :)

My cockatiel laid 3 eggs then left nest. Is this normal?

I was cleaning my birds cage when I noticed 3 eggs inside of the nest. I placed a paper towel under neath the eggs. The parent birds have not gone back inside of the box. Did I mess the laying or incubation process up by handling the eggs?
