Laid eggs. There was no nest box ,but we have this coconut toy that’s hollow and, well, nest like I guess. This was totally and completely unexpected, but we couldn’t just throw the eggs out, so I’ve been doing research like crazy and running around and talking to breeders and vets. But I still have a few questions.
After the budgies hatch, how soon is it before you can hold them? I want them to grow up hand tame, even if their parents are not, but I don’t want to hold them too early (There are 5 eggs, 1 I believe is infertile) and what food should I start giving my hen? What about after the chicks hatch, do I feed them, or does momma bird feed them?
Any help at all would be gratefully accepted, and specific help would be completely amazing. Please, nothing copied and pasted from websites – I’ve probably already read it, and they all say different things. I want your opinion from expierence.
