my birds are losing lots of little tiny feathers fluffy down are they going to mate umm i know for sure theres 1 male 1 female they kiss and cuddle but loose alllllllllloooooooooot of little tiny feathers and even more doun feathers. 4 days ago and havent left since. I love animals and couldnt just ignore them( I tried for the first night) so I started feeding them outside. I cant bring them in cuz my tom cat will not tolerate another pet in the house, it drives him nuts with them just being outside. He sits at the back glass door and stare and meows at them. Anyway..my family tells me that I shouldnt have fed them cuz now they wont go away and they are also leaving me lovely little dead bird “gifts” on my steps. It doesnt bother me having them here and they’re very sweet cats. Did I do the right thing by feeding them?
again—I do Not mind them being here, I only wish I could bring them inside without it turning into a war with the cat I already have

i have a huge palm tree in my back yard and i think there is a nest up there with a hole or somthin, cuz 2 baby birds, possibly a day or two old just fell outta the tree, i put them in a shoe box but i dun no wat to do. im not gonna call animal control or anything like that. so what should i do? please hurry before it gets too dark!!
will decon rat pellets kill a rat… I just put it out today after i saw one under my car port eating my bird feed… Then less then 2 hrs. later I find a dead rat in my front yard .I wonder if its the same one.. cuz i have never had this problem before
so, i found this young pigeon on my doorstep, no way i can find it’s nest cuz chinatown’s crowded with millions of birds and hundreds of bird nest so i bought it home. then i went to the pet shop to get canary seed(cuz the pigeon feed is real expensive and it’s a big pack, the nutrients are only like 2 persent less or more)
so i got it settled into a 2 squared feet cardboard box. with newspapers over a piece of warm cloth for bedding.
So now i have a few questions:
1.my pigeon is attracted to bread more than bird seed? why? and how am i suppose to fix that? cuz bread is not good for them in the long run.
2.my pidgeon is flicking the seeds like real hard, SO THEY’RE FLYING ALL OVER THE PLACE.
3.I know that a cloth underneath newspaper ain’t that warm and comfy, but i’m afraid that the bird poop will stain the piece of cloth if i put it on top, and i want to give it the best i have until it’s back feathers have all grown in(it’s currently pinkish with tufts of soft fur like feathers, other wise it’s full fledged)

How do you breed parakeets and be sucessful?
How do you breed parakeets and be successful? Cuz when i researched it says you have to change the next box bedding and that you have to keep it moist. I wanted to try to breed my parakeets(ps i am keeping all the babies and we have an aviary for them so please no rude comments). Please help me . Have you ever breed your birds? were you successful? What did you do with the nest (did you change the bedding?And if you did how did you change the bedding with the eggs in the nest box?) Did you handfeed?
