i have a pair of budgies in my bird room that have bred now the chicks are 4 weeks old and last night 1 chick came out the box but my mum putt it back in so today the other chick came out the box so i took the other out and blocked out the nest box as i don’t wont them to breed Again until they have rested the chicks are fully feathered and are doing ok i have put in a budgie bath so they can hide in there (i have not put water in) so they are sitting in there now and i think that they are eating as i have seen one of them eating seed so do you think ive done the rite thing and will they be ok now
the tx. st. aquarium wont return my calls. i dont know what kind of bird this is. out of three baby birds, two have already died! i just wish i knew what to do. i’m giving her formula and letting her suck the water droplets from a sterile toothbrush ( i read thsi tip online) but what else should i do? she chirps, she bobs her head when she eats. her crop gets full and i dont feed her the special bird formula (for all birds it says) until it’s empty. but she chirps loudly when she wants to eat. but i have no idea when to introduce seeds, or how to keep her alive! please help!

I was just about to cover my budgies cage, and i saw 2 hatched eggs on the floor of the cage…
one is broken the other still there.
I dont know when she hatched them, but all i did since i dont have a nest, and didnt even know she was pregnant, was put this big open jelewry box full of tissues, in there, and put the egg in. i dont know what to do! i dont know if the egg is alive, because i dont know if she was sitting on it………. how many more will she have? any advice, i have NO idea what to do!
I also threw shredded tissues on the floor of the cage.
She is also a tamed hand fed bird. i dont know if she has the instinct.
ok, well there are baby birds that we found and i am asking what do you feed it when you are trying to save it. it is a baby but it is bigger than a baby bird, so we can say it is a teen bird that cant fly. um, what do you feed it and how can we make it comfortable and not scared? and please i want only serious answers and DONT tell me to release it or anything? and how do we give it water? thanx in advance.
