as scared as i am to hand feed the babies there is another problem. the parents have been feeding the baby birds before i can even get to them so i cant hand feed the babies. So what do i do? i really want these new baby birds to grow up well and be nice and tame. unlike my cockatiels now who bite u even if u try to get close ( even out of the cage )
the olders were mean even before she had babies and sometimes it seems the babies are lookin like they want to bite me too.

My wife has a pair of canaries and the hen has laid a egg in the feed dish and incubating.If this egg hatches will the baby bird be ok in the dish or should I try to move it to another nest?

okay i was out in the woods just looking around and i hear a faint cheeping. i walk over to the noise and on the ground were 2 baby birds. no feathers, eyes aren’t open or anything. They were alone so i took them inside. They keep cheeping and opening there beak which im pretty sure means they are hungry. What should i do with them. I have enough time on my hands to take care of them. right now i have them in an guinea pig bed wich is lined with like wool. i am heating up socks for them to cuddle with. what should i feed them help help help! any tips are useful! Oh and the stubs of the feathers they do have are blue.

I dont feed my green cheeked conure pellets but i do feed this
Tropical Nutri Berries, Original Nutri Berries. EL Paso Nutri Berries, Sunny Orchard Nutri Berries, Garden Veggie Nutri Berries, Boiled Egg (smashed with shell on) Parsley,Wheat Grass, Flaxseed, Canary Grass, Seed Sprouts, Romain Lettuce(dont worry no iceburg) apple, banana, Shreded carrot, I also feed all varieties of the brand cooking diet for birds”Beak Apitete”, Foster and Smith International bird feasts(pretty much the same thing as Beak Apitite) ,crushed walnuts and almonds. and regular cherrios(not honey nut but the original)

I think this is a pretty complete diet, but you tell me.

I don’t feed pellets because Celia my Green Cheeked Conure refuses them so I feed this:
Original Nutri-Berries
Tropical Nutri Berries
Sunny Orchard Nutri Berries
El Paso Nutri Berries
Garden Veggie Nutri Berries
Spray Millet
Unsalted Peanuts
Canary Grass
Flaxseed
Kaytee’s Fiesta for Lovebirds and Conures
Dried Fruits(especially papaya, pineapple, and banana)
Wheat grass
Seed sprouts
Boiled egg (smashed with shell on)
Cooked Poultry (call Celia a cannibal but she likes it)
Cooked Fish
Wheat Toast
Cheerios (not honey nut but the original kind)
Carrots
Lettuce
Corn
Foster and Smith International Cooking Feasts for birds (type of cooking diet sold on Foster and Smith .com that includes dried veggies, beans, noodles, and spices that you can cook) and sometimes Beak Appetite too (the same thing)
Fruit Bite Treats “Tropical Treasures” (a brand of papaya treat)
I sprinkle all four varieties of Healthy Toppings (coconut raspberries, apple bits, carrots greens
I think this will be a more tasty and natural way to give celia all her needed nutrients

How do I keep squirrels from climbing on my bird feeders and eating all the feed?
