My cat came over the fence with a bird in his mouth and I instantly cryed and shouted my mother to come and get it off of him and she did but the bird wouldn’t move for a minute and the it ran, we finaly caught it and put it in a big box, we took a closer look at it and saw that it was a baby that couldn’t yet fly. so my cat birdnapped it from it’s nest. It is now in a big box outside with a cage over it so nothing could get in to it. It’s mother came a couple of times and we took the cage of and then the mother went in with a worm and came out without it so it had been feeding it.
but now I don’t know what to do with it because if i let it go some cat like mine is going to find it again because it can’t fly yet…
btw My cat didn’t hurt it, we caught him in time, the bird is very active and keen to get out but i cant let him go because he wont be able to get back into a tree?
please help x
I don’t know where it’s nest is.
We found a banded woolybear caterpillar on a fence that was running from birds. We saved it, but don’t know what to feed it. HELP!

I live in the UK, I’ve got 2 bird boxes in my garden, one in a tree and the other on a shed but it’s a big shed, theres 10ft distance between the two boxes i also got a bird table with bird seed feeders hanging off it and a bowl of seed on the table for the pigeons, and a bird bath about 4ft from the bird table. I do have pets but only 2 rabbits and a cavalier king charles spaniel but i don’t think it’s the dog that might be the problem cause they haven’t been nesting in them for about 5 years and i’ve only had my dog for 1 year, the shed belongs to my neigbor and it right next to the fence that parts the our gardens, my neibor has put up a nest box above the entrance of the shed’s door and they have had Bluetits nesting in it, could it be the direction the brid boxes are facing my neighbor’s bird box is facing south and my one on the same shed is facing north and my other bird box on the tree is facing west. I seem to have all the birds need to make nests and rear young so please help

ows me and I see it when I go for long walks with my dog. It will sit up on a fence which is way over on the other side of the hill and it will sit there and “cheep” for me. Then, I “cheep” back. It sort of talks to me. Is this possible? I know it is the same bird.
It lets me get real close to it. I hold out my arm, but it will not come to me. It will follow me, however!!
I like to get along with my neighbors, but some of them have cats that they just let run and they come over on my place and kill the wild birds that I feed. I can’t have a fence here and I try to keep the food up off the ground. I have a cat too, but he is an inside cat and only goes out on a leash. How can I talk to my neighbors and what should I say without offending them or making enemies? I am about ready to start trapping cats and sending them to the humane society.
