cooking for your bird…recipe’s?

Ok, my family flock has grown quite big as we are planning on 2 new additions. Zuess is a redwing macaw and Kaida is a triton cockatoo. both will be joining our family next week. Peachy and Cheeky will be the older sisters and they are both cockatiels. They are all on a zupreme pellet diet with a small amount of mixed seed. I know it is going to get very expensive keeping them feed with their fresh vegetables and fruits, etc. So, I’m hoping I can once every 2 weeks or at the beginning of each month precook a batch of food and freeze it for the month. I would like to put together a recipe that ALL of my birds can share. does anyone have a good recipe?
oops I meant zuess is a greenwing macaw lol. But, he is soooo red!! lol

Are cockatiels flock birds…which genders will fight?

I just brought a really big cage for my cockatiel…It looked smaller than I anticipated. Now in my room he has so much room in that cage! Is is gigantic! My cockatiel is a male should I add another male or will they fight? Or Should I add two females? I just don’t want little cockatiels…hopefully you know what a mean. If there is no nest box will they still lay eggs?

Thank soooo much to whom ever answered!

.

Why have my chickens stopped laying so much?

My chickens are still laying but not as much over the previous few weeks. It’s been really hot for this time of year and I have also just introduced new chickens to the flock.
I have also had an egg with a soft shell today. They are fed Layers Pellets, kitchen scraps, corn as a treat and have a pot of oyster shell. Fresh water available all the time.
Plenty of cosy quiet nest boxes in different areas. 6 nest boxes for 12 birds.
All seem happy and healthy and the new chickens seem to have mixed in quite well and settled down.
Two of the chickens are 16 weeks old (Speckledy Hens). Could one of these have layed the soft egg??
Any Ideas please!
