What could my cockatiel need?

I have 2 cockatiels and they are a bonded pair. They had babies and all of them hatched and are doing great. It’s been about a week and a half since they hatched. The parents are great at raising them and have raised babies before (they were given to me since the owner of them got babies from them and didn’t want to keep the adults anymore)
They are not friendly birds and especially not since they had the babies. They will however screech to me if they need or want something. Example – if I don’t give them fresh water right away and sleep in or whatever, they let me know about it. Or if they are wanting some millet, they will screech until I give them some more. I change their food and water daily, made sure everything is clean, cleaned the nest box and put fresh paper towels down so the babies are kept clean, and for some reason the adults are screeching and carrying on all day today. They have been really quiet since they laid the eggs and today has been the first day I heard them really acting crazy. I’ve been keeping the curtains closed and only letting some light come in because they haven’t been so active…i know when I keep the curtain open before they laid eggs the female would screech and be active the whole time. I’ve done everything and they are both running about screeching. The male is usually the quiet one except for his pretty whistles and he does the cat call. I walk back into the room and they start running around back and forth on the bottom of the cage attacking their cuttle bone (they knock it down and only eat it on the bottom of the cage for some reason). There is plenty left and its clean…i dont know what they could want , but all this screeching I’m surprised the babies aren’t scared lol. Anyone have any ideas? Or is this just normal?
blank, i read somewhere to make sure to take the shells out and clean every other day in the nest box so bacteria doesn’t build up. I haven’t cleaned every other day in there, but I do check every day to make sure it’s not filthy. This has not been the first time I cleaned inside. But I had to, because they had went poo all over the place and the paper towels were wet and nasty. Birds really do use the bathroom ALOT! lol!

How often do you feed your parrots?

I fill my bird’s food dishes up to the top every morning. I have two African Grey Parrots. They pick at it and eat on it all day. They throw half of it out. My question is: Do you leave food out for parrots all day? Or do you pick the food up and give it to them on a schedule? If so, how often should I feed them? They are sooooooo messy with their food. They are on a pellet diet and that is what I have trouble with. I also switch out fruits and veggies and I will make them eggs, pasta, rice, etc. but they gobble that stuff up. It is the pellet food they like to play with and make a mess out of.
Oh, it also makes cleaning thier cage a mess. They poop all of the time and everywhere.

regarding breeding my parakeets…?

i have a bird that is about 5 years old(the male) and the female that is likely about a year and a half-2 years old. her cere is a crusty brown and his is a purple-ish blue, but she is aggressive toward him in the sense that if he gets too close she will try to peck at him. he tries to preen her and feed her and has in the past but i’m not sure if their bonded. i took the mirror and toys out of their cage, put millet spray, and a nesting box with pine shavings in it in the cage, but she hasn’t gone in it yet and its been a few days so i don’t know if that’s a bad sign or not.. the male sings to her a lot and chirps constantly, the temperature is right, but i can’t get them to eat anything but the millet spray and mixed seeds.. i’m not sure what to do or how long it takes for them to be interested in mating???? what do i doo??
he looks to be still into breeding its just the female im worried about. ive read a lot on the subject and it says its their own personal choice to breed and i dont know if she wants to.. so should i put the toys back in? and the mirror he was in love with..

Feeding a baby cockatiel

I have 2 adult cockatiels, one male and one female. They mated and hatched 3 eggs. The mother will continue to sit on all her eggs, and the male will sit on his bunch of eggs, but every time one hatched, the mother pushed the baby out of the nest and won’t care for it no matter what I do. The first one and the third one died, so I’m caring for the second one myself. I have a nest in a box, a heat lamp and I’m feeding it every 1-2 hours with baby bird formula in a tiny dropper. It’s been doing just fine for about 4 days, it’s growing, getting stronger and eating the formula easier. My main concern about it is every time I feed it, it swallows a large amount of air and sits in it’s crop for a little while and makes a large bubble in the crop. It says on the formula container to feed the baby till it’s crop is filled with formula, but it gets half filled with air and half with formula. When it gets filled with air I’m afraid to feed it any more because I don’t know how much it’s little crop can hold. Is this air swallowing thing normal? Should I feed it more when it does that or keep doing what I’m doing? What should I do???

Okay so my Baby Grey has been home a day and a half. I haven’t seen her drink any water yet.?

She has eaten watermelon though. Does she get enough water that way? Also, she munches on fruit, veggies and cereal, but wont eat her veggie mix ( a concoction made for the birds in the store). I was told she was still being fed by syringe once a day, but she fights with me when I try to feed her that way. She wants to eat everything out of my hand. I don’t mind, but how do you think she’s doing? Do you think she’ll get enough food that way, and what about the water?

Abandoned baby bird??????????

Today, I found a baby bird. I’ve been feeding it chicken mash mixed up with half and half. Is there anything else I can do for it? I also want to know what kind of bird it is. So, are there any good websites anyone knows that can help? Thanks a lot!
Currently it’s sleeping in a sock curled up to look like a nest in a mous cage. Don’t worry! The mice have been gone for some number of years now!
Help… please?
one of the problems is is that I found the poor thing near the place I work. I climbed trees in freakin’ high heals!!!!! I couldn’t find the birds nest. By the way, my work is about 40 minutes away and my brother borrowed my car . (Because I don’t have to work this week!)
The bird isn’t eatin’ chicken! It’s eating chicken MASH. Chicken mash is what my chickens on the farm eat. I took out all the cracked corn, though
I live in the far, far North! Almost near Canada!
I believe it’s a robin
I’ve been feeding the bird every 2 hours. I’ve been giving it a small (pea sized) chunk of watered down bread and two good sized worms. Then, I take an eye dropper and drop water in its mouth. after that it goes to sleep.
