I live on the 4th floor of an apt complex and woke up to find mouse droppings on my balcony. Is this possible

The droppings are just in one section but look like they belong to more than what one mouse can produce. I see no holes in the walls and there are no drain pipes. I do know that my upstairs neighbor feeds birds above us. Is that related somehow? Is there something I should do? I’m freaking out.

Help! Am I doing enough for this baby bird?

My across the street neighbor stole a baby bird that I am guessing only 2 or 3 days old I have been feeding it bread soaked in water and feeding it thorough a syringe (the reason i have it is because my mom took it from him to try to find the nest which apparently had been ripped up by my across the street neighbor) i am keeping the bird in an old shoe box inside of a metal crate (like one of the file crates with a whole bunch of holes in it) with a heating pad in the bottom for at night and a lamp above it for during the day. I was wondering if there is anything else i should be doing or what else i should know. O yea i have no clue what kind of bird it was

How can I make this big box into a birdhouse?

My mom rescued a young squirrel a few weeks ago and after researching online, found that we had to build a ‘squirrel box’. So my uncle and I built a box of plywood that was of the wrong dimensions. So I built this 14″x14″x14″ plywood box for nothing. So instead, I figured I’d make it into a big birdhouse. My mom said that no bird would nest in it since it’s so huge. So instead, I thought I’d make it into a Martin house? With many holes? How can I make this big box into a birdhouse? How many individual sections should I make and what kinds of dividers, spacers, holes, etc. should I make? I wanna make some birds happy this year =). Thanks!

What to do with a wild baby bird?

A few hours ago, I heard birds chirping really loud, i went outside to see what was up and saw 2 birds looking directly at a bush, i looked at the bush and was suprised to a baby bird, based on what I saw I assumed the bird fell out of its nest ( the nest was on the roof of my house, i know because ocasionally i’d see those 2 birds fly up there ) and the 2 birds are trying to figure how to get the baby back up there, i felt real bad for the bird but went back inside, about 2 hours later i noticed there wasnt any more chirping outside, so i went outside and couldn’t find those 2 birds anywhere but I did find the baby bird still in the bush, i didnt know wat to do, if i left it inside the bush it was likely to be cat food. I thought for a while about what to do… I got a shoe box with 2 holes in it, some hamster bedding, and then put the hamster bedding inside the box, i then went to the sink got a really really small glass bowl ( small enough so the bird could drink out of it ) and filled it with water, I picked up the bird and put it in the shoe box, brought the box inside my house and now here i am, I tryd to spoon feed it water ( well i guess i mean spoon drink it ) but it wouldn’t take it, it just sits there all scared and shakey, if i put my hand over the box it’ll pull its head back into its body and its wings will come towards my hand just a little bit. I have no clue what to do, I’m probably gonna take it to an animal shelter. What to do??
I just read recently on a website that a baby bird outside of its nest is considered a fledgling, falling out of its nest on purpose to keep away from predators like hawks or climbing cats and being fed by their parents who will soon come back and keep feeding it for a few weeks until it is able to hunt for food its self and be on its own… i feel ive done the wrong thing. I also read that once human hands have touched it, the parents will never accept it again. Is any of this misleading information? Should I tomorrow take it to a shelter, or bring it back to the bush where it could still be cat food?
to first poster: I can’t put it back in its nest, its to far up on my house and I can’t get a ladder to climb.

How and what do you feed an injured bird?

I found a bird with it’s leg ran over in the street yesterday, and I took it home with me to nurse it back to heath(or fry it,just kidding)I put it in a box,and put holes in it so it can breath, but I don’t have any bird seed at the moment so what do I feed it untill I go get some and what exactly can I do for it’s leg besides take it to the vet?
