so observed very carefully to see which 2 are the parents. i noticed that 2 of the birds kept protecting the egg and fighting off all the other birds. so i got another cage ,got another nesting box and put the parents in the cage by them selves. did i do wrong? only reason i felt the need to do this is because not to long ago they laid 5 eggs and all of a sudden they disapeard.is this normal? my birds hve a huge cage outdoors no rats or annything can get in.my biggest concern is now that ive separated them they wont go in the nesting cage to sit on the egg.what do i do?i dont want the egg to die
