How to take care of a baby bird?

I found a baby bird who fell from his nest (way to high for me to put him back in) and I followed a recipe I found on Internet on how to feed him (boiled meet, grains, baby formula = blended) and I use a eye drop bottle to put it in his beak (it works great). Obviously after 3 days he’s trying to get out the big box I put him in. I don’t know how he will do out on his own (food wise). Do you think the SPCA will take him? (I call but they don’t answer) Thanks!

where to sell birds?

I have a princess of wales parrot and a budgie but I can’t take care of them any more. Only feed them and cover up the cage at night. Where can I sell my pets? Also want to make sure that I’m selling my parrots to a better place. (I’d rather avoid selling them on the internet cause if I sold it to some dude in Texas or a place far away, that’s not gonna work for the birdies cause they go crazy on car rides) Does $180 for a parrot and a free budgie sound like a good price? Can’t go any lower than $180. So where can I sell the little guys?
BIG emphasis on not selling over the internet. I never trust the internet when it comes to purchasing or selling.

HELP!!! My “male” bird just laid an egg!?

Ok, so I have a “male” bird and a female, the “male” is about 2 years old, and the female is only a few months old. He looked sooo much like a male, according to the internet and the pet shop we bought him from.

He was acting really weird, puffed up on the bottom of the cage, (which isn’t very big – I don’t have room for a nesting box) so I took him out, and an egg just like… fell out! He only laid one egg and is showing no interest in it.

What should I do? Take it away [It's NOT fertilized]? Is there anything I should do for him? Or… her.

Thank you so much, this is really weird =]
I shoulda made my question more obvious: what do I do?!

Take the eggs away?! Or leave them?
Should I feed her anything special?

How much should I be hand feeding my baby cockatiel?

He’s about 20 days old. I had to remove him from the nest box because the parents were attacking the poor thing! I’ve never hand fed a baby bird but I’m following the instructions carefully. The problem is that it doesn’t tell you HOW much to feed it. I read somewhere on the internet (I can’t find it now though) that 8 cc was good and 4 times a day. Is that 8 cc every time though? I’m giving it EXACT formula. Any info. is appreciated.
