my brother found an undamaged bird egg, and we put it in some cotton wool on top of our agar (kind of stove u keep on 24/7, but just cool enough to lean on). the egg is blue, and about twice the size of a mini egg. what are its chances of hatching, if at all?and if it does, what do we do with the baby bird? what will we feed it? i’ll shut up now.

what is the best bedding to use for my cockatiel next box. my bird are going to have babies and i have to go get a box. i hear that the babies can choke of pine chips. what is the best for my new babies.
What kind of “people food” (fruits and vegetables) can I feed my parakeet? Is advacado ok? Can my bird live off vegetables and fruits alone? Should I leave its little bowl of grains in its cage all the time or just for a little bit? Any other good tips for a new parakeet owner? Please help!! Thank you!

I had noticed these little black things on my floor and after a few days took a close look to find they had legs. Little round looking bugs with small legs and move very slowly. They also have some kind of speckeling on them. I found they were hatching out of a bag of bird food. Can anyone help my identify this insect?
so i have this big box to hold my hose in and i left it open like only a crack and then i went looking for something and when i opened it up there was a little birds nest and in it 6 little eggs about an 1 inch big and about 1 inch on the side they arelike a light pink with alot of little speckles and on the rounded end of the eggs it is like kinda purple…. my brother my mistake knocked one egg out of the nest and then he put it back….and i did see the mom come back a couple times but now i dont see her it been about 40 min. and i havnt seen her yet…shee is probly still around but i am scared that because my brother touched her egg that she wont come back…and does any one know what kind of bird she is….little pink eggs and she is little herself a little bigger then a humming bird and she flys fast she is like gray and brown….i live in MA. what kind of bird id she and is she going to come back….P.S. she might be like eating or something but idk what to do or what kind she is.

I found two baby birds outside. I’m guessing they blew out of their nest because it was really windy. I couldn’t find their nest so I took them home so I could take care of them. I bought worms, their in a box, and I have a lamp over them for heat. How long until they are old enough to fly? Do you have any other advice for me? I don’t know much about birds. I don’t even know what kind they are.
