Finch Feeder has been hung out for over 6 months, first hung in front of kitchen window, then moved feeder to tree limb. Can see the Finches every day in tree, but they do not come to the feeder. Have placed special Finch Food in feeder and even on the ground to try and attact them to the area. Other birds do not eat the finch food. I live on a very busy street.

my neighbors recently cut down trees and knocked down a birds nest that was in it (yesterday) well today i looked out my window and seen my dog attacking something so i ran outside and my dogs were attacking one of the baby birds, i don’t think my dog seriously hurt it. i chased the bird out of my yard so my dogs would kill it. well like 2 hours later i heard a chirping noise outside my kitchen window, i went outside and there was the baby bird! i felt bad so now i have it on my front porch and i don’t no what to do w/ it. i also seen one of its siblings on my neighbors front yard, should i get that bird to and put them in the box together? what should i feed them? im just leaving them on my front porch so they can fly away whenever they want to. advice? whenever i try to set the bird free it keeps coming back.

A pair of birds built a SMALL nest outside our kitchen window and proceeded to lay 5 eggs. They built the nest only 3 feet off the ground. The eggs hatched 4 days ago. Mom & dad feed the birds and all seems well. The nest appears to be crowded already and as they become more active I fear they will start falling out. I know not to touch the nest or birds but is there anything I can do to soften the fall should this happen without the mom & dad abandoning them?
