I fell from the loft in a barn, but truly seems too big and leggy to be a barn swallow. Three total fell, barn cat got other two. This one seems stronger than others. It is begining to get feathers and seems willing to eat finely chopped worms. It was very offended by sugar water.
Hi there, i need to build a loft, aviary,coop or whatever you call it for 12 runt pigeons, because there are allot of cats in our neighborhood, and the neighbors will complain to the council the birds will have to stay locked up at all times , so to begin with how big a loft do i need to build for those sort of circumstances? i plan to have 6 double nesting boxes, an area where they can bath, and get plenty of sun as well, what type of paint do i use over wood and or would it be better to use builders lime instead? the floor will have to be 12 ml waterproof ply wood, do i spread newspapers over the floor or can i use sawdust, wood shavings and have it removed every two months or so in order to keep things clean and germ free?
