I have 2 parakeets 1male 1 female. I have a nesting box on outside of cage, they ignore it . there’s a log for the birds the female has been digging in it for about a month now. She has been getting bigger in her bottom . Very possesive over the log when we come near the cage she gets in it. And the male is on top of the log protecting it. But for the last two days I’ve had to clean out the water bowl there’s been lots of big clumps that looks like poop brown w/ white in it. I’m talking marble size. She also been breathing really hard. Do you think she’s about to lay eggs or is something else wrong with her? Please help!!!
