I found a nest in my house vent with a mommy bird and 4 eggs. What do I do?

The mom is alive but just lays with the eggs. We have seen the male go in the vent (we assume to feed her) but we can’t have the nest in the vent. I don’t know if there is a place that I can take them for a rescue, or what to feed her….. I just don’t want to let them die.
In Oregon it is legal to remove the nests of house sparrows, by the way. And I know how to secure it after they are out- that is not my question.

My budgie died – should I feel guilty?

We started to feed a local cat some months ago, and it adopted us. Yesterday, I accidentally left the bird cage open and my mom accidentally left the room door open. The cat ate our budgie. My mom says it’s my fault, and I feel guilty as well as sad. Is mom right to blame me?

Help! Baby Bird Just Fell From His Nest!?

Well a baby bird fell from his nest and my mom freaked out and took it inside, she didnt want it to die. The mother is nowhere in site and the nest is too high for us to put the bird back in. We are trying to keep this bird alive, does anybody know what we should do or feed it? Is there any place we can take the bird to? Or should we just leave it out there? Please help.
The bird has all its feathers, probley the size of a canary. He is currently fluffed up and is closing his eyes, you hear a ticking noise from him every time he takes a breatj.
I mistyped, I ment to put down, “Breath”
I have now put the bird back on the ground, next to the tree where his nest is. From what I read, you people say he will stay on the ground for about 3 days untill its wings get stronge. Hopfully, the mother will still care for it.

Thank you for all your help!

How can I take care of 2 little birds felt from the nest?

I found 2 little dove or something little birds, they already have feathers, no bird mom nearby.

Do you know how to take care from them?, have them in a shoes box in the backyard, protected from any cat, with a dog, hehe, is it there any hope for them, how can i feed them?

Baby Bird Help! I don’t want it to die!?

Early today 5 pm ish I found a baby bird you know like those brown birds that fly around in the LA area well anyways we left it alone and my mom said it was okay to bring it in because 8:36pm and the momma bird has not come(it was very still against the wall I think it was cold ). What can I feed it until its old enough to fly and how long might that be? I have it in a box with tissue as padding.
Warrior drank water from a syringe but will not eat the mashed up dog food.
Warrior’s got feathers but its a thin layer not thin thin it’ll freeze but barely enough to keep it warm.
If later on today should I put Warrior back outside will the momma bird take it back? I think I know where it fell out of but what if that’s not its nest is it risky to put it back in since it was near my front door and not the orange tree? Also, I haven’t heard it cry at all and its been with me constantly is that bad? because it would open its mouth but no noise would come out.

we chopped down a tree and when the tree came down, a birds nest that we didnt know about came down too?

we found 2 baby birds (i dont know what kind) in their nest, i dont think the mother will return, i dont want it to die, what can i do, we put them in a new tree and they’re there now, i know you’re not supposed to touch the bird or the nest cuz the mom won’t come or something but, what do i do , what do i feed it, how do i keep it warm

If a baby bird is ill and the momma bird pushes it out of a nest will it make sure to die?

I found a baby bird today and we picked it up and cover it will wash clothes and stuck it in a box we his the bird in scare of children finding because a bunch of little kids live by this tree I know it’s a myth that the mom will reject the child if we make contact with it it was a nestling and im positive because it was bald and could see the wing bones so were going to put the bird back in the nest tomorrow and if this bird is pushed out of the nest again is it most likely ill and if it was ill to begin with would the mother bird make sure it was to die?
