My Friend Found A Baby Bird?

The bird is about one week old and was abandoned by the mother bird.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to feed it and or keep it alive?

If a baby bird is ill and the momma bird pushes it out of a nest will it make sure to die?

I found a baby bird today and we picked it up and cover it will wash clothes and stuck it in a box we his the bird in scare of children finding because a bunch of little kids live by this tree I know it’s a myth that the mom will reject the child if we make contact with it it was a nestling and im positive because it was bald and could see the wing bones so were going to put the bird back in the nest tomorrow and if this bird is pushed out of the nest again is it most likely ill and if it was ill to begin with would the mother bird make sure it was to die?

how long until baby birds leave the nest? I have a nest in my garage and…?

About a week ago I noticed a bird flying in and out of a box on a shelf in my garage, sure enough there were little eggs in it. Sense then I have not disturbed it, did my best to keep the the cat away, etc.. Today i peeked in, and there were 5 tiny baby birds, looked like they very recently hatched. How long until they are able to fly out the nest and survive… im going through the moving process and there is noise and everything during the day.. we also have a cat, and to my knowledge she has not noticed the next but I’m worried she will jump on the shelf and disturb or harm them, i keep her in at night, so hopefully the mother bird is around at night more then the day? recently i have not noticed her flying in and out as much.. I know the rules, dont touch or look too much; Any helpful answers to my questions will be great!

bird help please?

a nest formed on my porch about a month ago. my brother wanted to observe the birds, so we didnt mess with them. its very intesting to watch these birds, the 3 eggs hatched and now theres 3 baby birds in the nest(there about a week and half old). since the birds got bigger, yesterday my brother took them down from there nest and put them in the yard so they could walk around, and he fed them a worm. and now, the mother bird doesnt come anymore at night to sit on the babys and keep them warm. basically my question is, did the mother abondon them because my brother touched them and stuff. only the father comes to feed like once or twice a day. did the birds smell my brothers scent, and ruin their relationship, and will the mother like “disown” them because of what he did??

What do you feed newborn Morning doves?

I found a nest in a bush in my yard with two eggs, but the mother bird hasn’t been there for a while. I am thinking about bringing the eggs inside and putting them in a box with a light over it. But I do i would like to make sure I can actually sustain them. Is this possible? I need as much advice as possible.

Why would a mother bird remove an egg from the nest?

a sparrow and her mate are nesting in a potted plant outside our door. The mother is very tiny, so we were shocked to see she had laid seven eggs. It doesn’t look all of those could even fit inside of her. Anyway, today when we peeked in the nest, she had rolled one of the eggs out of the nest into dirt. Is she trying to kill one of the eggs because there will be too many birds to feed? Should we return it to the nest? Should we try to raise it, if it’s going to die anyway?
