Help!!! i have a nest freshly build, under my deck. i hate to touch it really but is on top of my Jacuzzi .?

the nest is empty at this time, and would like to keep it under the deck for the sake of the hardworking mother bird and her future chicks, but under my Jacuzzi i can’t have it, so im thinking of moving it 3 feet away, same height. The new under the deck don’t have same support plank as where the nest is, if i place a box and make wide hole would it work? guess it would have to be weatherproof maybe wooded box? i need to know what to do before she give birth, any suggestion will help!

what to give a baby pigeon that cant fly and has no mother?

well where i live there are these pillars that birds nest on and every year we see a mother bird and its babies. some reason this year one of the babies hatched and fell from the pillar in front of my apt. and neighbors (who don’t speak english) put it in a box with leaves, a bowl of water and rice at the bottom of the bowl. ?:(
i understand there customs are different from us american (they are indian) but I’m not sure what i should do, if i can help in any way, if i could buy fish bate for the bird or something.I’m very concerned because the box just sits outside the pillar it first fell off of.

if you have any info on it please share as soon as possible I’m not sure how much longer it can take being in a box without proper care and food

After a bad storm,We found two baby robbins what should we feed them?

I found a baby bird, nest destroyed and the parents are still around what should I do?

During a wind storm, this dove/pigeon (baby) fell out of its nest and the nest is gone. But the Parent birds are still hanging around. I put the baby bird in a box and the mother bird went down to it, fed it once or twice, and then just watched it. I went out there a few times to check on it.
And now only the father is out there not near it just sitting in the tree. the baby hasn’t eaten for more than 8 hours. I’m scared and i dont want it to die. What should i do. i have this cage that i put it in and it doesnt have a top to it, i thought that would work that way it cant get out and the parents can still get to it. will that work.

Please Help!!! I have a question about the baby birds in my backyard?!?

Awhile ago a mama bird decided to put her nest on our deck. There are four baby birds now and they are all hatched. Last night a storm hit and the nest tipped over. So when we went to check on them, (like we do every morning) we found the nest on the ground and the smallest (about two days old) was missing. We are guessing that something ate it. We think it was a chipmunk because it only took one (the smallest) and the chipmucks live in a pipe right next to the nest. So we took a wooden birdhouse and took off the roof so we could put the nest in and we cannot get the roof back on however, we also put the house into a large dog cage because we origanly thought the bird was eaten by a cat. The mother bird wont go into the cage anymore because our dog tried to eat her. We do have a box too. We want to put the box over the birdhouse that is inside the cage during the night (when the evil chipmunk comes out) will they be o.k. w/o the mom bird overnight?

Mother bird dead, and left her nest with 2 eggs, HELP PLEASE!?

Someone please help me, a few days ago my sister and I noticed a mother sparrow has gotten killed due to our neighbor’s cat, ad we noticed that her nest had two eggs in it. We took them in, and we have placed them in a card board box. We have a heating lamp as well, and we have been turning the eggs every now and then. While turning the eggs last night, we noticed that there is some blood (or so we think) in the eggs. And the eggs aren’t cracked or anything, so I was just wondering if there’s any best way to check for signs of life for these precious babies, besides going in a dark room a taking a flash light how else can I be sure if there’s life? PLEASE someone help me, it would be much greatly appreciated thank you!!

Bird nest needs removing?

I have a small dilemma and need some advise and assistance. We live in Havana and the Animal Control there only works with dogs and cats. Well…a mother bird has built a nest in the newspaper box, which is connected to our mailbox. Needless to say, we have been unable to check our mail for several days b/c of the watchful eyes of the mother bird. We would like to remove the nest, w/o disturbing whatever is in it. Can someone tell us the best time and method to do this?

We are unable to get close enough to see if there is any eggs or baby birds inside.
Thank you to everyone who responded. St. Francis Wildlife Refuge is coming out to the house this evening to assist assess the situation and provide assistance.
