Can we move this new bird’s nest without hurting the bird?

We are having electrical problems in our home and less than a 3 days ago it was just and old breaker box. Now a bird has made a nest on top of it and the electrician is due tomorrow! We got close to it and the bird doesn’t move and I fear she’s laying eggs or already has. How and where could we move the nest if the breaker box needs replacing (which it probably does)? There are lots of cats in the neighborhood and we don’t have trees in our yard.
It’s impossible to leave the bird’s nest there. Our electrical problem is a major fire hazard and if it’s not in the breaker box, we’ll leave the nest alone, but diagnostics so far say it IS the breaker box so either the nest gets destroyed or we try to move it responsibly.

Are grey squirrels territorial?

The reason I ask is I have only seen at the most three squirrels at a time feeding from the seeds under the bird feeders in my backyard, and I was wondering if there was any way to know if these are always, or at least mostly, the same three squirrels coming back over and over and over, living nearby, or do I have ten, twenty, a hundred different squirrels coming from all over the neighborhood to feed from the feeders day after day. I don’t mind them coming, they do no damage to the feeders or the birds. I just want to know, if I name them for fun, am I always seeing the same Larry, Moe, and Curly Squirrel?

pigeon housing advice needed?

Hi there, i need to build a loft, aviary, coop or whatever you call it for 12 runt pigeons, because there are allot of cats in our neighborhood, and the neighbors will complain to the council the birds will have to stay locked up at all times , so to begin with how big a loft do i need to build for those sort of circumstances? i plan to have 6 double nesting boxes, an area where they can bath, and get plenty of sun as well, what type of paint do i use over wood and or would it be better to use builders lime instead? the floor will have to be 12 ml waterproof ply wood, do i spread newspapers over the floor or can i use sawdust, wood shavings and have it removed every two months or so in order to keep things clean and germ free?

How do I hatch and raise bird eggs?

I was walking around my neighborhood and I saw a bird’s nest on the floor near a tree. On the floor their were 7 bird eggs. 5 of them were broken. The mother was nowhere in sight so I put the 2 bird eggs that weren’t broken and brought them to my house. I put a hot water bottle in the box and put the nest in. I covered the box with a towel and put the eggs in the nest. Am I doing anything wrong? What do I do when they hatch?
