Everytime I put nuts out in the garden to feed the birds, my nuts get stolen by pesky squirrels. Does anyone know of any deterrents to prevent my nuts being violated by troublesome rodents.? Thanks

I supplement her diet with nuts, vegetables and fruit (lettuce, celery, grapes, apples) and even some cat food since I’ve read that hamsters are NOT vegetarians. Is all this enough or do I absolutely have to buy hamster food?

I have a one year old Indian Ringneck parrot. It will let me pick it up, but gets jumpy and will bite if I try to pet it. I’m wanting to tame it and train it the basics, but I can’t find out what treat it likes and what treat to use in my training. Does anyone have a answer as to how I can get my bird tame enough to let me pet it, and play with it, and also does anyone know of a treat that’s meant for training purposes that I can use. I’ve tried millet spray, I’ve also tried nuts and other things, but it looses interest in the treat after a minute or two, which ends my attempt to train. I’m very trying the clicker method, but just have a problem finding a treat to use. I feed it pellets mixed with seed. I’ve taken out it’s favorite seed to use for treating, but doesn’t seem interested in wanting to learn anything, or wanting the treat for that matter. Help please? Thanks.
I tried putting a fake snake in the tree, cutting back the native plants it feeds on still doesnt work, it is driving me nuts.I just want to sleep in!!

I live on a canal, so sound carries. One of my neighbors has a cockatoo.Even the breeders warn buyers of their “nails on the chalk board “screech. I feed lots of birds and love animals but this bird drives me and my husband nuts. I’ve spoken with the owners but they say their bird has as much right to be outside as we do.The owners put the bird outside, go into their home, close the windows and doors and turn up the music. I’ve called the police but there is nothing they can do. Any suggestions? thanks…

The eggs were laid in the nesting box we bought, plenty of nesting materials were provided and we have given the birds lots of good bird seed with nuts, fruits, etc. But it seems that we are beyond thenormal gestation period. the mother still protects the eggs and will not let anyone go into the nesting box, which is hanging in a corner of the larger cage. not sure how long before i declare the eggs officially infertile, and if so, what shoudl i then do with them?
