Dating ideas for teens?

Looking for ideas for dates… I’m 15, so I’m limited in some respects. I was thinking of star watching out in a park after a home dinner… and bike rides when it gets warmer out (little brisk right now considering it’s almost january).

We’re planning on going bowling together soon, and we’ve already gone bird feeding (which by the way, was a good idea).

Suggestions anyone? Please, serious answers…

Thanks and happy new year!

How can I repel dogs when I am feeding small birds in the park?

I like feeding small wild sparrows and blackbirds in the park….but the dog owners think they own the place and let their dogs run wild, poo and pee, and torment the birds while I am feeding them.

What is a good, strong, natural dog repellent that will keep the dogs away, while not bugging the birds that I can conceal??

Very creative ideas welcome!!!!
Im thinking nice hot pepper seeds in a colourful toy or biscuit carefully planted….natures protection?
I noticed the wild birds are very careful what they eat…
Oh, yes..anything harmless that would induce yelping, and that is concealable would be appreciated
last comment: Its not hypocritical to want to repel unleashed dogs away from a small greenspace. I would never harm *any* animal. Wild Birds have a hard life, they are small, exposed, and live a short life. They have a right to greenspace as well(probably even more so). Human domesticated animals ruin the planet everywhere. (I also think keeping parrots as pets is wrong, but thats a whole other issue. Why do Parrots go nuts? Their habitat was totally destroyed by humans and replaced by cattle in central/South America…they don’t belong in cages they belong in a wild rainforest)

Bird Feeding at Humber Bay Park

Whats the scariest story you’ve ever heard???

I was sitting in the park the other day and got to talking with an old man who was feeding the birds. He started telling me this story and by the end of it i was having to go to the bathroom with a chaperone! mad stuff! So whats your scary story?…popcorn at the ready people..

Why is it that some days the birds do not seem to wake up and feed on the ground ,everything is very quiet I?

I’ve been working in the same place for many years, but just 2 days ago I noticed something that I have seen before but I never wonder why.. through the window I can see a park most of the days birds flying or feeding on the ground…chasing each other.making noise..etc.. but 2 days ago everything was very quiet no a bird on the ground. they were on the trees although it was 10am.. at that moment I began wondering why is it? and I recalled having seen the same thing before. Could you please someone could tell me if they have witness a similar event wherever you are. and why is it? There must be something that on some specific days affects the bird behaviour

Feeding wild birds

Vivian and Sabrina took a walk at a nature trail with their friend Winifer, looking for wild birds and squirrels. Mendon Ponds Park, Monroe County, New York

Wild birds. Tall grasses. And Wind.

Flocks of wild birds feast on ripening grains of tall grasses at an overlooked embankment beside a service road near Shoreline Park’s dog park in Mtn. View, CA. On the other side of the embankment is the kite flying park, and on the other side of dirt road beyond the tall shrubs is a road and the Google bus parking lot. Lots of traffic and planes to shoot around. Anyway, in spite of the outward appearance of this humble dirt service road, Mom and I found it teeming with wildlife. We’ve sharpened our senses looking for birds and other critters of nature. Sometimes you just have to Look. Shot with my Sony Camcorder MiniDV, DCR-HC96, which has an interent problem of picking up the high pitched motor noise of the camera. Using iMovie HD6′s audio editing features, I got rid of most of it…but if you are thinking of getting this camera, buy an adapter to use a mic jack…and an external stereo microphone, with wind protection. I sat in the car protected from the direct blast so did not get much distortion. Note: When the seeds are eaten from the grasses, the birds move on to other places, like the tables of the Shoreline Park’s Lakeside Cafe.
