I have bread and peanuts that I buy just for them. I like to sit on my balcony early in the morning and distribute it for the birds and the squirrels. Does that make me weird? Am I the only one that does this?

Do you enjoy feeding the animals?

I’ve been feeding a red-wing blackbird at work for over a year. He loves peanuts and I get him to ‘sing’ before he gets any. Lately, when I pull up in the parking lot, he is waiting for me and circles my head the whole time I’m walking into the building. Now he has started to actually crash into my head. What is his problem? Is he trying to hurt me or what? Today he heard my voice and flew in the back door looking for me, so the other workers say. What is going on? Why is he getting so aggressive after all this time?

This is about hand feeding and peanuts for a timenh african grey bird?
my aunt has an appr 7 month old TAG.. and he is still insistant on haveing 1 hand feeding of a morning and she is unsure as to why bc he gets pellets and fresh fruits and veggies?.. also she was told that he can have only 1 peanut a day.. is this true and if so why is that?? .. she raises blue and gold Macaws and not had this problem with them.. thanks in advance.. this squirrel is hanging around?
I had sunflowers on my patio. and I gave the seeds this squirrel since the birds weren’t eating them, ( and now I just found out that my boyfriend has been feeding it peanuts) but now he just hangs around on the patio when my boyfriend goes outside the squirrel runs up to him and will get extremly close and run circles around him, is it being friendly, i’m afraid it will bite him? what dieases do squirrels have?
is it safe to let them come up to you?

Why wont birds use my feeders or nesting boxes?
I have feeders with seed,fat and peanuts 6ft on a garage wall to avoid cats. Ground feeders ie starlings and blackbirds visit but no one visits the feeders. A blue tit visited and left immediately on looking and has not returned. They are checked daily that they are fresh. My sister has lots visiting her garden up the road. What can I do to encourage them into mine?

No birds are eating from my feeders or nesting in the boxes. Why?
I have places 4 feeders with seed,fat,peanuts etc on the garage 6 ft up to avoid predators. One blue tit has visited and left. No more have visited. Ground feeders are in abundance ei starlings and blackbirds. What am I doing wrong. My sister up the road has lots visiting her garden.
I have also placed my boxes north east pointing down to no avail. The boxes are 14 ft away from feeders.
