I am starting my own professional pet-sitting business, in which I will go into clients homes and take care of their small animals (cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, aquariums, etc.). I’m interested in what people are willing to pay for the services. They include, but are not limited to, walking, brushing, cleaning up messes and litterboxes, cleaning cages, feeding, puppy sitting, shuttling to and from grooming and vet appointments, as well as bringing in mail and watering plants. Pets, such as dogs, will get multiple visits each day, as well. The area in which I live has several towns, each with about 15,000-25,000 people, most professionals in the workforce, and I’d like to provide a service so they don’t have to worry if their pets are well-taken care of. All services will be confidential as well.

There’s a bird (dove, I think) in my backyard who can’t fly. All day it’s just walked around and hasn’t had any food or anything. Right now it’s sitting under a bush. What should I do? I don’t have any pets, so I don’t really know anything about the vet’s office. Should I touch it? Feed it? I’d prefer to not let it die.
Also will it hurt the birds. The weed and feed says if you get it on your skin or clothing to remove clothing or wash skin immediatly, yet it has no mention of use on pet areas and I know this is a product that people use on thier entire yards. But I am a little unsure of using it where my dogs go out.
